Best Generic Adderall Brands (Page 27)

Is the round pink 30 mg Adderall generic name Sandoz/Eon with the markings of CDR 136 on one side more or less effective than the oval orange 30 mg Adderall generic name Barr/Teva with the markings of b974 on one side and 30 on the other side? What is the most effective/potent Adderall that is generic and 30 mg?

Thank you for the link to this information. I'm going back to my doctor to request the brand name Adderall IR since this latest prescription was filled with the Mallinckbrodt generic which makes the Teva generic seem like a dream in comparison. I'll take Teva any day over Mallinckbrodt. Its so ineffective that its scary.

Thank you for providing this !ink! I feel more confident in taking Adderall after reading this I formation. Now, if only I could be given the name brand, which I may request next prescription. I thought at one point that generic Adderall by Teva was bad but I love it compared to the manufacturer, Mallinckbrodt.

Hey just a heads up. So I've already have my doctor due to Prior authorizations to get me brand name. I keep getting denied. He's writing a third one this month. so just wanted to tell you be prepared to jump through all kinds of Hoops it's crazy that they will approve Vyvanse which is 5 times the cost of brand name Adderall. I have also found my favorite Sandoz was discontinued from Costco and at $60 for 45 30mg it was a deal. After searching all day I found Impax at Safeway. Never heard of it but heard it was a shire company. Not sure. either way I had no choice. It s a little mellow, but balanced. Maybe because Im was spoiled on the holy grail. Whos had experience with Prasco and where is it found?

My dogs friend obtained #30x30mg SANDOZ Adderall generics from a large chain pharmacy. They are orange and gorgeous and are by far the best Adderall experience I’ve ever had side effect wise as well as overall quality. They’re back guys they’re back! And they are now the preferred formula for most pharmacies and insurance. COREPHARMA IS DISCONTINUED COMPLETELY IN IR FORMULATION, I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS GOES FOR THE SAME WITH XR* but the xr is crap anyway. You’re welcome

Well, dog's friend is very lucky! LOL! Anyway, I spoke to my pharmacist before actually filling my perscription. On my notes she stated, No Mallinckrodt . She will be filling the next script with Sandoz. Never had it but according to those on this thread, it works pretty well. Praying for a miracle since none of the other generics are avialable to me any more via CVS which is the only pharmacy my insurance allows. I don't know if I am on IR or XL. My doc wrote for 20 mgs twice a day which insurance covers. Then I get fifteen which I pay for that allows for the 25 mgs 2x/day that works the best for me. I'll let you know how it goes. This stuff I'm on now causes an elevated heart rate which is actually pretty scary even though I'm very active. Thank you all for your comments. Theyve been helpful and grateful.

The Barr/ Teva has more Amph and is smooth but doesnt do the the trick like Sandox which appears to have more Dex

I've been prescribed Adderall IR 30mg x 60 for 18 years. I've suffered along side all of you as each generic company slowly but surely either discontinued making generic adderall entirely, or discontinued making it with the same quality ingredients to make it effective. After at least 18 months of frustration, anger and disgust, I gave up and asked my Dr to prescribe Adderall 30 XR and found that also worthless. He then prescribed Vyvance 70mg 1x day, that too was worthless. I don't know what to do. I'm seeing my Dr today but I know there isn't anything more to try. I have spent months now with NO motivation, ZERO. I barely just skin by my day. Nothing getting done. The house a wreck, I'm a wreck. My husband is a naturally disciplined and energetic man. Takes no medicine so has NO idea what I (we- meaning you and I) am going through. He honestly does NOT understand or have a clue what this feels like as he goes to bed every night at 10pm sleeps soundly to 5am where he jumps out of bed with NO snooze, just up and out the moment the alarm sounds off, gets his work out clothing on and runs 2 miles. Anyhow, I am struggling beyond struggling as I am sure as you are all. Nothing is getting done, and I am becoming more and more depressed as our sinister pharmaceutical companies continue to pull the wool over our eyes with this garbage they are trying to pull of as generic "quality" medicine. I am sick of this! They are intentionally messing us up! I hope whoever is masterminding this scene to rip us off, WHILE they collect our hard earned money, as you and I suffer with lack of motivation, being terribly tired, depressed, as we walk around in a zombie like state, I hope it will be THEM, or THEIR loved ones and/or THEIR family members that suffer the consequences of what will and I am sure IS happening as a result of us having no choice but to attempt to function efficiently at work as; MD's, surgeons, nurses, bus drivers, truck drivers, airline pilots, etc... with inferior, ineffective, useless medication! We now can not help ourselves. We have screamed, shouted, begged, pleaded to these manufacturers to explain what is happening and let them know we are quickly sinking, but to no avail. What more can we do?

We're trying so hard to keep our heads with our scattered and exhausted minds above water, but don't be surprised if we inadvertently take innocent lives with us as we fall asleep behind the wheel of our cars, school buses, 18 wheelers, commercial airliners. Don't be surprised if your own doctor or your surgeon is now struggling to keep up with all that he once did, or perform efficiently and/or perfectly, as he no longer has the motivation or ability to stay focused because all he wants to do is get through whatever is in front of him so he can go to sleep. Please don't think I'm being dramatic, or embellishing this problem. For those whom DEPENDED on Adderall IR or XR to function efficiently, to stay focused, to do our absolute best, to STAY AWAKE, to perform flawlessly, they (we) can NO longer do so! The ENTIRE pharmaceutical industry has decided ON THEIR OWN, TO DISREGARD THE FDA RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THEIR GENERIC ADDERALL BY "NO LONGER ADDING THE SAME QUALITY ACTIVE INGREDIENT, OR THE PROPER AMOUNT OF QUALITY ACTIVE INGREDIENT IN THE ADDERALL ALL MGS". There is too much proof out there by those who have been prescribed this medicine for YEARS! WE KNOW! Maybe the parents of those poor children who are being subjected to this crap, are in the dark. These pharmaceutical companies are making a killing on the "UNINFORMED" who are paying. But those like me and the many others who KNOW what we expect, ARE NOT UNIFORMED, WE KNOW WHAT THEY ARE UP TO! Don't be suckered in by being prescribed NEW PATENT MEDICATION that cost 10x more! It is crap too! Something needs to be done to these manufacturers who are completely ripping us and the insurance companies off! Something need to be done to these manufacturers because innocent lives are being effected because those who are being prescribed this medication, ARE NOT RECEIVING THE "PROPERLY PRESCRIBED" MEDICATION THAT OUR DR'S ARE.PRESCRIBING!

Can someone give me a little help here. I am or was a SANDOZ or core pharma person. I have tried many different generic Adderall manufacturers and have found thru trial and error that those two brands work best for me. Is there any truth to the PRASCO blurbs I've heard about? I am grateful for any response that can help me find my medicine that works. I thank all of you for your posts. They have been very helpful during this inconvience that I and many others must go through just to get our medicine that works for us. Thanks

Hi. Sandoz and Core are gone in Adderall IR...

Options now:
1. Teva Generic Oval - Very poor quality of late.
2. Mylan - only had a few but generally poor review. Need more input on this one.
3. Aurobindo- Well, just read the reviews. Some believe they are essentially fake. A few here like them. I tried them and they were tolerable for a few days. Never again though.
4. Adderall Brand by Teva- This is the oval peach pill with dp on them. Not original formula but I take them as they are a bit better than the generics. Very expensive. Worth It? Not sure.

Regarding XR version, I take the Shire. It's original Brand but they have jacked with formulation. Shire has deal with Sandoz and Prasco. They are exactly the same. Called Authorized Generic. They WILL NOT HAVE THE ADDERALL XR on the pill. They are OK. Seem speedy but focus is suspect. Do not buy Adderall XR or you will pay an exhorbarnt price when Sandoz and Prasco are same.

Heard ok things about Impax new XR. Heard horror stories of Teva new XR (they use to supply the Shire but make their own).

It's a crap shoot! Good luck.

The best ones I can find now are Dexedrine from Whilshire. Expensive but good. Used to take teva/Barr's orange 30's but since the formula changed I had to quit them. They are now so bad/poor quality It feels like taking poison and they feel dangerous for the body. Messes with the immune system big time.

I legitimately feel the same way. When I drink I get f***ed up and argue with my girlfriend. I just hate myself without corepharma, like I'm a miserable person and no other drugs work! I've tried everything, every brand, even Vyvanse.

Focus is better with sandoz, but they are no longer available. If you get them they are probably from the pharmacy inventory and the next time you go for a refill they will be gone. I tried Ipax recently which lacked both Dex and Amph. But better than malenkrodt. I went back for a refill and they said 5 days. I'm on the search again.
