Bentyl Excretion Rate

How long does it take for Bentyl to leave the bloodstream, if you have only been taking it for a short time?

According to NIH.gov, Bentyl's primary route of excretion is through the urine (reportedly 79.5% of the dose). RE: Blood - They go on to mention that the average plasma elimination half life of Bentyl in one of their [9 hour long] studies was shown to be approx. 1.8 hours. Further noting that, "in subsequent studies, the plasma concentrations were followed for [up to 24 hours] after a single dose, showing a secondary phase of elimination with a somewhat longer half-life."

To my understanding (and please correct me if I'm wrong), the duration of time in which you've taken Bentyl shouldn't alter the drug's half-life. However, I do not know if the drug's half-life from each successive dose would eventually overlap with regular treatment.
