Hi sylvia,

The usual adult dose of Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) tends to vary slightly depending on what you're using it for. In most common cases though, I found it to be: 25 to 50 mg orally every 4 to 6 hours as needed, & not to exceed 300 mg within a 24 hour time period.
