They can be taken together, if your doctor approves, and while it doesn't cause the Benazapril to stop working, yes Aspirin can elevate your blood pressure as a side effect, according to FDA reports. You may also experience other side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation.
