Belviq And Migraine Medication

I have a really bad migraine, the first one I've had since i started taking Belviq. Can i take my Maxalt? if not how long do i need to be off Belviq before i can take it?

No, they shouldn't be taken together, unless your doctor approves, because they can both raise serotonin levels, which may create the risk of your developing serotonin syndrome which can be fatal.

It would be best to check in with your doctor to see what you can safely take, with the Belviq.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of Belviq as possibly including nausea, dizziness, insomnia and anorexia.
