Belviq - Taking 4 Pills

I've been taking belviq for 2 months. Yesterday i missed a dose so i took 2 more (a total of 4) and i felt sick, lightheaded, couldn't focus, and had nightmares. Is this because i took 4 instead of my regular dose of 2? If so, what do people do in cases like this to push this out of your body? Does drinking milk help?

Hello, Redrose! How are you?

It is never advisable to double up, unless a medication specifically instructs you to do so, oral contraceptives would be one example… and even then, only if you've missed a tablet by 24 hours, or more.

Have you experience any other issues, or adverse effects?

The symptoms you experience are normal, according to the FDA, for having taken so much. You may also experience chills, vomiting, loss of appetite and diarrhea.

Unfortunately, only time will help it to clear and for the side effects to subside, and please be sure to inform your doctor of how much you took, so they can monitor for any possible problems.
