Belviq Dosage

Can the Belviq pill be cut into 1/4's and taken like that? Will it affect the pills effect?The side effects are bad in re to headache and I thought if I cut it into 1/4's I would do better. thank you

Hello, DeeJega! How are you? I'm sorry about the headaches.

If you're still taking the full dosage, then cutting the tablet into smaller pieces won't alleviate the side effects.

However, the good news is that they are usually transient and should improve, then eventually go away entirely, in a few weeks, once your body gets used to the medication.

According to the FDA side effect list, you may also experience nausea, diarrhea, dry mouth and fatigue.
