Bee Sting In Leg

The stinger was in my leg for 5 days. Finally when to urgent care and was prescribed Amoxicillin Clavulanate 875mg for pain, swelling and itching. Will this help if the stinger has poison?

This is an antibiotic that is used to treat or prevent infections, it will not alleviate pain, or swelling, unless both are caused by an infection and it would take several days to help.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash.

How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications?
