Hello, I am 31 yrs old. I have had 2 back surgeries. The last was a spinal fusion of my lower back in 2012. I have 6 bolts and two rods in my back. Lortab 10 mg does not help at all. I can not do anything due to so much pain in my entire back, and down my right leg. I was given a Roxicodone 30 mg and all my pain was gone for about 8 hours.

Sorry to hear about the pain your in but like myself chronic pain when it involves issues of the back postoperatively most doctors are Leary to Rx potent opiates/opioids for long term pain control.actually your fortunate to have access to hydrocodone.sadly most docs aren't even willing to prescribe that 5 years post surgical procedure as I believe you stated.The only suggestion I can make is to honestly share your issues with a specialist who just may entertain the idea of upward dosing or changing to a new protocol.......
