Bacitracin zinc ointment is used to treat pink eye????

This is an over the counter antibiotic ointment used to treat topical bacterial infections. It may cause skin redness, irritation, dryness, and flaking as side effects, according to FDA reports.

Sally, no it should not be used on, or in the eye, since it is not a sterile solution.
