Betamox 125 Mg

My 7 weeks baby have problem of choking/breathing sumtimes so the doctor give her betamox 125mg. can this help my baby?

Betamox is an antibiotic that's used to treat infections. It seems the doctor might think that you're child has a respiratory infection. This medication can cause side effects, such as nausea, drowsiness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

Was it prescribed by a pediatrician?
