Are you asking about using Belladonna Alkaloids for hot flashes?

It has been prescribed for alleviating them for many years, but testing didn't actually prove it to be effective, so as a treatment of hot flashes and the symptoms of peri or full menopause, it generally isn't recommended anymore.

Many women get much better relief from Evening Primrose and Black Cohosh, some even add the natural Progesterone creams. All of these are available over the counter, but you should check with your doctor, before using any of them.
