Has your doctor instructed you take them both?
If so, you should do so, because it is far more dangerous to let a cardiac condition, or high blood pressure continue out of control, than it is to take the medications.
The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.
