Azithromycin Oral Suspension
UpdatedI want to take Azithromycin orally via the liquid suspension and wondered if I can take it over the span of a couple days and if it will still have the same effect as a full treatment regimen?

It really depends on the severity of the infection being treated and the recommended dosage to eradicate it. The liquid works just as well as capsules, or tablets, but the dosage is the important issue.
The NIH warns that this medication may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash,.
How much do you have, what is the dosage and how much have you been told to take?
