Avandia Side Effects

I've been on Metformin for 9 months and have gained weight even though it is supposed to help lose weight. Has anyone else had this problem and/or does Avandia help?

Yes, I have gained everything back that I had worked so hard to lose, 15 lbs. My doc says it isn't the Avandia, but you can't convince me. I started gaining after I was put on it.

My husband lost from a size 46 to 40, then the doctor put him on avandia and in one month he gained back up to size 46. His new weight doctor told him to get off of the avandia because it does cause weight gain and even states so in the advertisement.
