Avalability Of Actavis Oxycodone 30 Mg

My 7 year old nephew & my daughter that was 3 at the time were almost hit by a car by a woman in a parking lot talking on her cell phone. Luckily I was able to push them out of the way & they weren't hurt but unfortunately I took the full impact of the car hitting my back. I've had over 16 surgeries and numerous hospitalizations. I even had spinal cord stimulators implanted into my back to help with the pain. I am currently taking Oxycontin 80 mg & Oxycodone 30 mg. I've been on these medications for over a year & they barely help with the pain anymore but I have to take them just to be able to get out of bed in the morning and function without being in agonizing pain. I have been having the hardest time trying to get my Oxycodone filled this month. My regular pharmacy CVS where I always get my medicine filled had my script for 3 weeks and couldn't get a shipment of it in. I can't take the Qualtest brand I get severe nausea, vomiting and diarrhea for some reason. I always used to get the Actavis brand but my CVS said they couldn't get it. I have spent the last 5 days going to various CVS's, other chain pharmacies and even the smaller mom & pop drugstores.Besides the fact that everytime I get my medication filled I am treated like a drug seeking addict even though I'm a 38 year old mom and need these medications. Everyone of them either doesn't have the medication at all or they don't have the Actavis brand. I even tried calling Actavis to see if they knew where I could go or if they can make sure it is shipped to my CVS but I haven't heard back from them. I live in Union County which is located in central New Jersey. I'm about to run out of my medication and I was wondering if anyone knew of a pharmacy in my area or had any ideas of what I can do. I really don't want to have to get the Qualtest brand and be really sick all month but i'm running out of options. Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated!!!

I can help... I know exactly what you mean. I just had surgery at the Mayo Clinic to fix my broken back and sometimes have trouble getting my medication.

Luckily I finally found my pills for this month. But I know I'm going to have a big problem next month. We leave on the 17th for a cruise my prescription they said can't be filled till the 19th. So I will run out while we are on vacation!! They pharmacist said they can't do anything to help me.

Mominpain, the pharmacist was being honest with you, due to federal laws on controlled substances, they can't fill it any sooner than the day it is due.

You can, however, get some in a different dosage or an entirely different medication, if your doctor agrees to help you out by writing another prescription. You could explain to them that you are going to run out shortly after you leave for the cruise and they may write you one for something that you can pick up the day before you leave and give you enough to last through the cruise.

Hello im a jersey resident and [I am an RN and many of my patient's cannot get, or refill their Oxycodone-IR, 30mg tab prescriptions.
After MANY conversations with independent pharmacy owners I know, I have been told that BY ORDER OF THE DEA, each pharmacy is being LIMITED TO
6-8(120count) bottles PER MONTH. Now in my area I have 5 CVS within 10 miles radius 4 Walgreens 3 Riteaid's 1 ShopRite and 1 Walmart not including all the momma n pop pharmacies. That's alot. Unfortunately All pharmacies go with what's the cheapest batch at that given time, you really can't request a certain make I honestly don't see a difference ppl use to swear V's vere so bad they worked just fine 30mg is 30mg no matter how u cut it. This needing a certain make is usually for ppl that snort em because of the difference in euphoria anyway I live in CM county exit 7 off GSP I go to Reefs family and CVS all I've gotten for past year has been M score -30 Actavis oxycodone. My advice, just get the qualitest brand for now until you can figure out how to get the brand you like. You do not want to get sick from withdrawal symptoms and it should help with some of your pain. And I like how you said that the pharmacies treat you like some pill seeking junkie. Do not pay attention to them, you have legit reasons for taking these pain meds. Always keep your head high with pride for what you did for those children and who you are, you're a special person. We have these pill seeking junkies who do not suffer from pain like we do. They just want to put handfuls of pain meds in their mouth to try to feel high. They are the *****s who make it harder and harder to get your pain meds and the quantity of pain meds that make your life comfortable. Please do not ever let anybody make you feel like a pill popping junkie. They are not in your shoes so its easy for them to pass judgement. Plus put yourself in their shoes. They are trying to fill prescription orders. And then you have those pill seeking ***** addicts who do nothing but make a scene and cause problems for everybody. I hope you understand what I am saying. I feel for you, and I admire what you did for those kids. You are my hero.
