Aurobindo Adderall - I Think Its Counterfeit - Does Not Work
(Newest replies first)

I think Aurobindo adderall is counterfeit.. I've Been on adderall for over 7 years and never ever had this brand and I must say IT DOES NOT WORK..... Its total crap. I have went to my pharmacist and talked to him about this this and he told me to contact the FDA. I sent them an email and called. Please do the same. People need there medicine and this is unfair. Since taking this medicine I have had stomach problem and I dont know what I'm taking. People who have taken adderall from different manufactures know this medication is a fake. Here is the food and drug administration information.

Always check your RX before leaving the pharmacy. Never accept any drug manufactured by Aurobindo, Accord or Mallinckrodt.
I always call the pharmacy to see who the manufacturer is of the med I have been prescribed. If it is one of those three and they are unwilling/unable to order a different manufacturer, then I just call a different pharmacy.
I just wanted to add that I always suspected Aurobindo made fake Adderall. My doctor writes do not dispense on all my prescriptions so I don’t get their medication.
Part of the reason we’re having an Adderall shortage right now as I believe they discontinued making it, they probably had to because it was so bad, but look at this from the FDA today. They were making bad medication. If you get weird generic meds, please take a minute and fill out an FDA medwatch report online or call. Sometimes they really are bad medications and these companies will keep selling them if nobody stops them.

You can email your photo to admin (at) rxchat.com and we'll share it on here. We hope to eventually have an upload feature...
It’s not fake it’s just not made with the same ingredients. I have a photo to show the difference. How can I post here?
FILL OUT THIS FORM TO LET THE FDA KNOW!!!

Just click on consumer/patient & it will take you straight there. It’ll only take 15 minutes!
Have your prescription bottle ready & make sure you click NEXT in the bottom left corner to go to the next page, I got confused and clicked save&exit at first ???????
Re: KD55 (# 32)
For generic adderall? Or was it other stuff???
Re: Optimistic (# 39)
Be careful going to Walgreens! I have heard that they aren’t carrying TEVA anymore... someone online said they are carrying Northstar now.
Apparently Costco is he only place that sells TEVA now, assuming they are still making it.. someone said that they got bought out by Northstar, but I haven’t seen anything to back that up.
Just call before you go to Walgreens next!!!! Otherwise you might get this crap
Re: Jessika (# 40)
Not likely, but definitely possible.
This company is known to be sketchy — producing products with hardly any of the actual medicine in them, as well as doctoring their results.
I’ve been on this 3+ years and for my prescription a week ago. I need these pills to function and I don’t even plan on taking the rest at this point. They straight up do NOT work.
Also their most recent pharmaceutical to be recalled was this year, and it was because they had filler in their product that exceeded the FDA limit — enough that it causes cancer.
Soooooopo.......
Re: Truth (# 34)
What lab??? I will send my fake ass bottle in right now.
Yes!!! I’m not alone in this!
Recently got aurobindo for the first time and holy crap... this stuff absolutely DOES NOT WORK!
Not even a little bit. I’ve been on this med for almost four years now, and other than sun pharm (I got that once — yellow pills), I have NEVER had this issue.
I think it’s fake too so I bought a drug test thing online to see what comes up.
Till then - I’m screwed for the next three weeks.
Counterfeit from a pharmacy? Unlikely. The potency of ingredients in the chemical compound is not the same as brand name .
No u27 Aurobindo
Nausea, vomiting, headache, bloating, breast tenderness, swelling of the ankles/feet (fluid retention), or weight change may occur. Vaginal bleeding between periods (spotting) or missed/irregular periods may occur, especially during the first few months of use.
Re: Carolyn P (# 3)
Wallgreens here is the only chain that carry Teva. That’s all I will buy too. The little M tables are awful as well. They don't feel weak like Aurobindo, just like an inconsistent strength.

I had this same issue with my script from CVs This month!! I am filing a report as well!
Re: Briards (# 35)
The people with working meds are busy living their lives... try Zenzedi, fam.
Funny how people will say what doesn’t work. Of course I find that helpful, but what about sharing which generics people have had success with....and, yes....I know we are all different.
Re: Penny (# 33)
Do you still have them? There's a lab that can test them.
Re: Kelly (# 31)
Yes me too. I'm going to keep a few for the record and give the rest back to the pharmacy. I have a long relationship with them going back several years and no issues so I'm thinking that having almost an entire month left will raise a red flag so that they will look into it. I'm also going to see if there is a way to have them tested for correct ingredients in type and amount, I would really like to know what I was putting into my body.
Re: Bunsen Honeydew (# 18)
I'm sure you know Aurobindo was taken off the US market by the FDA from 2006-2013 because of active ingredients 50% or less and contaminants.
