Auro Pharmaceuticals U17 Oxycodone/apap Tablet (Page 2)

Updated
My local CVS pharmacy has been changing and even mixing brands of my oxycodone/apap 10/325 for months now. Today they gave me yet a new brand made by Auro Pharmaceuticals with the inscription U17. Has anyone heard of these before? I know nothing about them.
The best generice oxycodone 10/325 on the market right now that I've found is the one that says M523 on one side and 10/325 on the other side, it's made by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. I've had many of the current generics over the years, but this one seems to stand out the best for helping to control my pain.
Re: Anonymous (# 18)
Yes, my pharmacy just switched to U17... they give me a headache and my face is flushed! Wish they would tell me when the pill has been changed. I can't afford to buy them again.
Re: Kadeena (# 42)
How did it go? I may have had an allergic reaction to it--maybe based on my own allergies (irritated throat and popping ears) but I like it.
Flea (# 44) --
I agree with you. The Auro u17 works just fine for me. I too noticed some very mild tinnitus but aside from that it works great and has a nice mellow euphoria. Taking it for multiple kidney stones and a 10mm staghorn stuck in my kidney. Nothing but IV morphine has helped with the pain 'til now.
Re: Kadeena (# 42)
I noticed the bad reviews. I thought it was weird it got such horrible reviews: Run for your life--you'll be shaking like a fish on the floor after one day! Arrrr! Seemed a bit much. So who would do that? Somebody who works for a competitor would. Take anything you read on the 'net with a grain of salt--especially when there is money to be made.
The only poor review that caught my attention was somebody said it bothered her ears. I noticed the same thing at first. Could be a coincidence. Don't know.
I happen to have the Auro and Endocet on hand right now. To be honest, I think I like the Auro more! I don't have enough to continue my experiment but what I think I'm seeing is that maybe the Endocet releases too fast. I'm lucky to get 2.5 hours from it which just begs for more-more-more of it.
I do wonder if I should switch to Auro. I do like it a lot.
Re: Kadeena (# 42)
Well, I wouldn't take it if I were you. My Dr. re-prescribed and the pharmacy filled it with a different generic that worked fine. I found the complaints just by googling the company, and I do plan on filing a report with the FDC. I also saved the pills in question, because I really would like someone to analyze them. My compounding pharmacy said they were not equipped to do that, but perhaps the FDA has a place.
Re: flea (# 38)
I'm kinda scared 2 take this pill and now I'm hearing all types of bad reviews on this pill.
Re: wakenda (# 11)
Where do you find these kinds of violations? I'm interested to look myself.
Re: Suz (# 39)
All this from someone who takes Percocet occasionally?
I think I like it better than Endocet. I'm still experimenting with it; it's hard to measure because my neuro pain is always changing--it's not an 'it hurts right there' kind of thing.
Re: wakenda (# 11)
I filled a post-op prescription for generic Percocet, which usually works for me. This time the manufacturer was Aurobindo Pharm. I have NO idea what was in this pill, but it's not Percocet. I have been frantic, itching out of my skin, unable to sleep and have had no pain relief since an agonizing surgery on Tuesday. It is now Friday, and I found one last Percocet from a previous procedure and, bam, worked like a charm. Unfortunately, I have probably alienated all my friends and family from sleep deprivation and pain craziness, and I'm certain the lack of sleep hinders the speed of my recovery. I searched this company and was shocked by the volume of complaints and legal cases, and also disappointed that RiteAid most likely switched to the cheapest company. I am ready to find a lawyer, as I am spitting mad. I did better with two Tylenol than two Percocet? How does one even find out actual ingredients?
Re: Steve (# 22)
You know, I'm reviewing this thread with all the violent side effects people insist they are having from the Aurobindo U17's and am getting suspicious if these are corporate shills or something.
Re: Cee Jay (# 15)
How is your pain level using this? I was getting actavis A333 they were horrible made me feel like crap as if my pain wasn't bad enough ya know what i mean. Made me sick to my stomach no pain relief and just passed out tired. Thank for the post...
When looking for the perfect pain relief meds I like to think and hope for this.
A pain relief of course
B do they make you feel lethargic
C can you function work drive ect
If these can do the above then personally I will be fine.
Actavis, failed Terrible A-C..
To file complaints about medications go here: fda.gov/scripts/medwatch
I just reported the Aurobindo brand oxycodone 10/325 to the FDA for a slight earache/headache and because of all the complaints here. Other than that I might like it even more than Endocet. Seems to last longer.
Re: Gilligan (# 8)
There was a problem with my insurance and went for my refill of 120, it would have cost me $645, thank god they fixed the problem, I don't have that kind of money..
Re: wakenda (# 11)
Without sources I can't take anything you say seriously.
Re: Ann (# 20)
Again--go to the feedback or complaint pages on the (I think) FDA website. Whining at pharmacist's (unless they'll swap the mfgr. for you) won't help.
Re: Chiropractic Guy (# 26)
I think the FDA has a feedback page. Use it! I happened to get these for the first time today and just took a dose 40 mins ago and they're kicking in. I'll have to let y'all know later but I'm definitely feeling it. They only got the approval 8/17 it looks like on the FDA website--the 10/325's. I don't quite understand the site. Was there a recall before? So far so good.
Re: KyRose (# 30)
That's weird. I'm near year # 4. You experience tolerance in that time?
I'm in Cincinnati area and I just got these after being on IP for yearsssss. These are sending me into withdrawal I swear!!!!
I have had 3 tests in the last year (1 from doc and 2 from employers) and they showed negative for oxycodone which I have taken daily for 7 years without fail. Only thing showing up is my ADD med.
