Can Amox Tr K Clv 875 125 Mg Tab cause depression or extreme moodiness. On my last day thank goodness,as it has caused a raging yeast infection, but I have also been extremely weepy the last 3 days. I took this medication for 2 days and stopped it, I had broken out with a very red rash on my leg, and didn't get any new meds for my cold, is there a problem stopping . ## This is a generic for Augmentin, it is an antibiotic and it will not do anything to treat a cold, since colds are caused by viruses and antibiotics are not effective against them. I have been prescribed 2 tablets 875 Mg per day for 10 days , which makes 17,500 mg in 10 days...is not that too much on Antibiotics? My wife is taking AMOX TR-K CLV 500-125. She is having a burning sensation around the lips of her fijuana. Can this medication cause this? Thank you. PS: I am not sure how to spell fijuana??? The burning sensation is most likely being caused by a yeast infection; caused by a common fungus known as Candida. my son was taking augmentin inj after that his platlets increased from 150000 to 700000 and he suffered from dvt and pulmonary embolism and he got operated for the same and at present he is taking warfin 5mg in morning and 3mg at night....waiting for early reply

I have been prescribed augmentin to treat an infection. It seems to be working well as the symptoms of the infection have subsided, however it is causing severe diarrhea. Will this continue for the whole course and should I go back to my doctor and request a different antibiotic? ## Augmentin contains Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid and diarrhea is a normal side effect of it and almost all antibiotics. Is it ok to take immodium to counteract the diarrhea side effect of Amox Tr K Clv 875-125? I took one dose of this drug for a cat bite. I took it with food as prescribed. During the night I had extreme stomach pain so bad I thought I was going to have to go the er. Then I had diarrhea with blood. I was so scared. I called my physician in the am to tell her what happened but by that time it had cleared up. She had one other patient this happened to after one dose. Has anyone else had this happen?pxhxu ## Interestingly enough, "mild diarrhea, gas, & stomach pain" has been listed as a less serious side effect of Augmentin. how far apart (timing) do I need to take this drug? ## You really don't need to worry about being exactly precise on the interval. If you are supposed to take them 3 times a day, then doing so at breakfast, lunch and dinner will be fine. Learn more Augmentin details here. If you are taking several a day, you shouldn't take them all at once, they do need to be somewhat spaced out, but it doesn't have to be on an exact schedule.
