I took my first dosage of amox clav and about two hours later i throw up. I was just wondering what if that was a side effect or should i call my dr an get seen again?? ## I just the same medicine and I'm feeling sick to my stomach also. I have stomach problem already so I don't know if it is the medicine or not. I had cold with bad cough and I took antibiotic Augmentin 650 mg for 5 days. Nonhealing wound.. Dr has prescribed Clavam 625 for 5 days 3 capsules per day along with Omez 1 capsule per day. The wound is there for last several months. it is at awkward place at seat of the body near rectum. I finished 10 days worth of amox-clav 875 and the last day I developed dark urine, a whole body itch, nausea and loss of appetite. This has lasted for 4 days now and is worsening. The pharmacist said to take benedryl, but how dangerous and how common are these side effects? Also, how long will they last? It's very worrisome. Can augmentin be taken before a dentist visit to clean the teeth? What would the dosage be if you have 875-125 MG tab? ## Hello, Bert! How are you? If an antibiotic is required, it's usually just plain Amoxicillin. Have you checked with your doctor or dentist? The dose is also usually right around 1,000mgs or so taken just before you go in for the procedure.

Dooctor prescribed me this. Supposed to take three a day. I had neck pain after dental cleaning, no abscess no sickness so doctor and dentist unsure and prescribed me meds for 7 days. Hello I was prescribed augmentin for an ear infection and im almost done with them but recently within the last few days ive noticed my vaginal area is super itchy. Its driving me nuts but I dont have much discharge (if any besides my usual) so I dont think its a yeast infection. I got bronchitis a bit over a month ago. I was given one antibiotic that I cannot remember because I was only on it for three days. In those three days all of my symptoms increased to the tenth power. My problem now that I am done with the augmentin by two days I have been dealing with mood instability.
