My Mom is a cancer patient recently had breast surgery and her right breast is removed completely. She is diabeti, with liver enlargement and doctor adviced for stunt. Doctor prescribed clopitab, dilizem, ecosprin, lipicure, isosorbide, what are these for do they cause any side effects. ## First off, I would like to state that ALL medications cause the risk of side effects, even if a doctor or pharmacist says they don't. Whit oval pill ATV 40 on one side APO on the other. What is it??? ## Are you certain the marking includes a 40? If so, then this tablet contains 40mgs of Atorvastatin, which is most commonly used to help lower cholesterol. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and joint/muscle aches. I am 45 years old . i efficted cholostrol now i am getting itching problem . ## Atorvastatin can cause rash, that may become itchy, as a side effect. Have you spoken to your doctor about this, yet? If the rash is severe or problematic, you may require a lower dosage or you may have to try a different medication. hi my dad taken aztor asp 75 for past 2 month for highy b.p as a doctor priscription but no effect on b.p with this drug now what we can doo????? ## Aztor ASP contains Atorvastatin and Aspirin. Statin medications such as this are not known to be really effective at lowering blood pressure, they are actually used to help lower cholesterol. Has he spoken to his doctor to see what his other treatment options are? What country are you in?

I HAVE BEEN PRESCRIBED SINCE IWAS DETECTED3.5YR AGO AN EASCHIMIC HEART PROBLEM OF 30% BLOCK IN ARTERY.HOW LONG SHOULD I CONTINUE? are both the medications the same I am used to taking AtorSave-f but now AtorSave10. Not sure if the ingredients are the same ## They both contain 10mgs of Atorvastatin, from the information I can find. Commonly sold in the US under the brand name Lipitor, this is used to help lower cholesterol. Some common side effects may include: nausea, headache, insomnia and abdominal pain.
