I go to the methadone clinic and I am prescribed ativan 1mg 2 times a day and my counselor said that ativan does not show up on the drug test. She has been marking my drug test as a dirty urine and I have to have a meeting with a treatment team Thursday to determine if they are going to kick me out. Please help me I am not ready to quit the program for something that I have a script for will someone explain to me if ativan is a benzodiazepine would it show on my drug screen. If so I need to be able to plead my case. ## yes Ativan WILL show up on a drug screen ## NO, ATIVAN DOES NOT SHOW UP ON URINE LAB. IN 2008, I WAS ON IT FOR A YEAR AND URINED 2X A MONTH, NEVER CAME UP AS BENZO.!!!!!! NOW ON XANAX AND YES DEFINITELY SHOWS AS BENZO.

I am on probation. I am prescribed one milligram ativan 2 times a day. My boyfriend stole all 60 that I was prescribed and I got some xanax through other means. If I were to be tested in the Probation Office will both medications just show up as benzos? Will ativan and xanax be the same in the test? My other question is, if it is xanax in my system and not the ativan, will I still be okay if I have a script for ativan since it is still a benxo?

Hi all, my 61 year old mother is on nexito 20mg + mirtaz 30mg for the last 12 days... Her mornings are horrible. She wakes up and has severe headaches + dizziness in the morning. She says it feels like she does not have a head and the whole body is not working. She takes ativan in the morning and evening to call her anxiety ... Wanted to ask if r morning side effects are common and is there any cure for the light headedness.. By 6 pm in the evening she is perfectly OK and comes out of the bedroom and talks and watched TV. My family is very concerted about her morning side effects. Any help will be appreciated.

I took 1 10Mg Ativan yesterday having an axiety attack. I do not take them on ANY regular basis.. I went to the dr to get my Ativan hadn't had them in 4 days. I took a saliva drug screen which took over 15 minutes my mouth was crazy dry because all of my medications! I have been taking this medication for over 20 years. I have ms also major depression & anxiety and panic attacks! can someone tell me why the Ativan didn't show up? I'm not a person that gets meds and not take them. I take what I have to take! this makes me out 2 be a liar which I am not! tell me what went wrong?

Atizam-2 & Zepose-10: I ordered Ativan (lorazepam 2mg) online from India, and it says the name of the pills are "Atizam - 2", they are white little round pill, that is in a brown see through bubble front with silver backing. It says it's marketed by "Marxx Pharma". I cut one pill in half and tried it, and seriously within 4 minutes I started to feel really "weird", and I got very scared and ended up having bad anxiety.....it felt like I was on some other kind of "drug", it was scary. i am on Ativan for occasional anxiety and i just called the lab: the nurse said it may show up but the doc will call me about it at the other end--whee they had the results-- and request the RX # and my doctor info. if I am legit on it then that info will NOT be passed on to my new employer (not their bizz) and the results will be reported as negative--whew!!

I have been on Ativan for 25+ years name brand. I have no insurance and do not qualify for assistance. Does anyone know where I can get this at the best possible cost. Can adavan cause mental confusion? My daughter had surgery one week ago and in the hospital she was given adavan and has not been herself. sometimes she doesn't know where she is and it is terrifying me. I took Ativan .5 mg this morning @1:30 and than Friday evening the emergency room doctor gave me 1mg to calm my nerves down! I don't like the side affacts and was hoping to try a natural relaxant! I took a 1 mg ativan on monday night, dissolved sub lingually. I have a pre employment drug screening on tuesday. Will it show up? Family member was in ER for alcohol detox and was peaceful and easy going. Member began to have shakes and was given Ativan in an IV. Member became very irritated and aggressive. Member had to be restrained and Ativan was increased. Upon increase, member became violent and had to be restrained by 4 young security guards.
