Atenolol 25 Mg Am/pm
UpdatedCan you cut it in half? New to med. Noon dose still has heart rate in low 50s and will soon be time to take again. Last night was unnerving with low heart rate and breathing. I see cardiologist tomorrow for first time. PCP prescribed. I am asking cardiologist to reduce dose tomorrow but worried about tonight.

It could be that it is too high of a dose for you, since the FDA lists that as being a known side effect of taking too much. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.
What did your cardiologist recommend?
