Atacand (candesartan) 8mg Swelling And Pain

What are the serious side affects of Atacand that one should be aware of?

I have swelling and pain in my feet and back pain, when should I be really concerned? Is this med not recalled?

Thank u. I do believe that the pharmacist did say that the recall was for the generic brand. I have been on it now just over 2 months and my biggest issue is that the readings are all over the place which concerns me so i am not sure if it's the right meds for me. I am also concerned that it maybe doing damage to my heart.
Can a doctor please weight in.

It has been known to cause these issues as side effects, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, coughing, and rash, and you should consult your doctor because the pain, and edema may mean that it is not the right medication for you, and you may need to try something else.

There was a specific manufacturer's recall, and if that applies to yours, then your pharmacy should inform you, and replace it with the product from an alternative manufacturer.
