Asthma Medications Being Cut Back

I have suffered with asthma since birth. I had to watch kids playing and if i wanted to play, i knew i would have to go to Dr and get a shot. As i grew up, treatments varied - inhalers, breathing treatments from clinic or hospital.... And to having breathing machine at home, emergency inhalers, the list contintues. There is nothing like praying to get the next breath. If you have not had that experience, then you cannot understand!! Still as time went on, Drs found that inhalers were really bad for the lungs.... That is where Bronchaid, Primatene Mist, etc came into the picture. Once again, as time went on, people figured that mixing those pills with whatever, they could make methamphetamine. Of course i can't stop taking it. So that meant that people like me who suffer from asthma are now looked at like we are druggies. I'm sure that anyone who has asthma would gladly give it back and be on cloud nine knowing we would not have to buy medicine that makes people look at us like druggies!!

Who is looking at you like you're a druggie for just buying medications? Or are you referring to the fact that you now have to purchase some at the pharmacy counter, and sign for them?

There is no reason anyone should be giving you an attitude about purchasing such medications, unless you are trying to buy a very large quantity.

Asthma Information

Are you on any prescription medications for it? Have you looked into minimizing your asthma triggers, if possible?

Yes, Lulu, caffeine, especially in a warm/hot beverage is know to help with asthma.
