Can I take baby aspirin or ibuprofen with apdivo treatments? ## Aspirin and Ibuprofen should not be combined, since they are both nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories, so taking them both is basically doubling up on the same medications. The FDA warns that they may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, increased risk of bleeding, easy bruising, and stomach irritation. Which one has your doctor recommended? Are these the only medications you are currently taking?

(This is not recommend for children, unless a doctor instructs that it be given to them, especially if they have a cold, or flu, due the risk of Reye's Syndrome, which can be fatal. There many NIH reports about this, as well as warnings on most Aspirin labels.) I know someone who takes 15 tablets of Cortal (500mg). What would happen to her in the event of an overdose? I'm getting nervous. ## Cortal is listed as containing Aspirin, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, that also caused blood thinning. Taking that many could cause her blood to be thin, so a cut or scrape could cause dangerous bleeding. She could also end up with a bleeding ulcer, due to the way it can irritate the stomach, as reported by the FDA. There is also a risk of liver damage, along with elevated heart rate and blood pressure. Any of these could possibly result in a fatal overdose. Why does she take so many? ## Ma wawala ang side effects ng gamot n cortal kse po gumamit yng pinasan ko po tas after nya mg karoon na ramdaman na niya yng mga side effects masusulusyo...

The fact that you guys are even thinking about mixing alcohol with antidepressants tells me you are not serious about controlling your depression. Alcohol is a depressant! Taking anti depressants and drinking is like giving a hemophiliac an aspirin to thin their blood. Makes no sense at all. If you guys really want to get better then get serious and pay attention to the warnings on your prescription bottles and pharmaceutical instruction sheets. How do you expect any drug to work for you if you don't take it as prescribed? Continuous mixing of alcohol and antidepressants has one result...death. Take responsibility for your health. Do what the doctor says and if the drug still doesn't work out for you let the doctor know so he can make an informed decision about your care. Look a...

The "authorities" are concerned with the opioid addictions and overdoses yet the FDA has not, to my knowledge, run trials on Adequan, a proven osteoarthritis drug that not only eases pain in dogs and horses but also has been proven to REGENERATE joints. Any reason why? ## The FDA does not run drug trials. They do set the requirements for them, but it is up to the actual manufacturer of any given medication to do the drug trials, and submit the results to the FDA for approval. The requirements are also quite different for human medications, as compared to those use in various species of animals. In some cases, the cost of doing the trials results in a manufacturer not wanting to pursue further testing to have a medication approved for human use. Regarding this medication, since i...
