IIs it aspirin based? Is it a Cox-II inhibitor?S ## No, Glizolan is not Aspirin based. Diacereina is reportedly the active ingredient of Glizolan. This medication belongs to a group of medicines with anti-inflamotory and anti-rheumatic properties. It is also used for treatment of Artrosis which is an illness related to cartelege prloblems and lesions and osteoartritis. It does not contain steroids. It works by inhibiting interleukin-1. yellow, round with the word "Andol F" written on the tablet ## This medication is unavailable in the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. I was able to find some data that leads me to believe this medication is equivalent to Aspirin and may have the active ingredients Acetylsalicylic Acid or Ascorbic Acid , but couldn't find anything else. The only thing I can suggest is that you try asking your local doctor or pharmacist for more information.

I found a round pill, it's light pink and has a heart on one side. Please help me, i've found multiple and i have children in the house. I don't want my babies getin their hands on anything, ecspecially if it can hurt them. ## That's kind of a vague imprint, which leads me to believe this is an over the counter product. I can't be 100% certain, but there are some low-dose 81mg Aspirin tablets that are very similar to this, so that might be what they are. They are usually used for their blood thinning properties. I am not sure what else to tell you, other than if it were me, I'd give the house a thorough cleaning/inspection, doing a full hunt to check for any more of them. Is there anything else I can help with?

little rond pill engraved 18 or 81 ## We found several spoons that had been obviously used to melt pills for injection in my friend's room after his death. Most of them had a yellow residue on them. We found only one pill, it is small, round, yellow and has '81' engraved on it. It is not the low dose aspirin with the black 81, it's just carved in the pill. No other discernible markings.

If one has taken aspilet only twice is it possible that he bleeds? ## Aspilet contains the active ingredient Aspirin, it can thin the blood and yes, it is always possible that it could cause bleeding in someone, even if they haven't taken a lot of it and/or they don't take it regularly. That is just one of the hazards of medications, there is really no way of knowing how they will affect any individual person. Some people can use it all the time and have no problems, but others will suffer every possible side effect from just one dose. Are there any other questions or comments?

Hi, my wife is always suffering from migraine. she is 45years of age. i heard from a friend that taking aspilet everyday will lower the risk of migraine. is this true? alan ## Has she consulted a doctor to get a recommendation on what she should use? Aspilet contains the active ingredient Aspirin, it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and there can be risks associated with using it daily and that is why it should only be done with a doctor's approval. These medications tend to raise the amount of acid produced by the stomach, which can result in stomach irritation and possible damage, such as ulcers. In addition, it also causes blood thinning, which can increase someone's risk of severe bleeding. Learn more:

Its a small white pill with a diamond imprinted on one side and nothing on the other. just wondering what it is. ## I found one just like that, did you ever find out what it was? ## I can't find a listing for this in any of our prescription drug resources. However, I do know there is company that makes over the counter products with the diamond logo, which would also explain why it isn't listed. One of their products is a low-dose Aspirin tablet of 81mgs. Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere? ## T-Gone Remedies, homeopathic aide for tinnitus is a small round white pill with a diamond on it.

I am to have surgery 13th July, but am on a daily dose of aspirin due to my heart problem. Any idea when I should stop taking aspirin before surgery? ## Did your doctor give you any specific time frame? The normal recommendation is to stop taking it, at least a week, before surgery, unless your doctor or surgeon has given you different instructions. You should also make sure that the surgeon knows you have been taking it, as well as any other medications you are taking.

It is Aspirin Enteric Coated; It works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain, fever, and inflammation. Correct me if I'm wrong but It doesn't seem any different than a normal Aspirin tab with a higher dose of 325 mg rather than the more common 81 mg.
