After a month I discontinued the Plavix and have continued on Aspirin, the question is that I want to have breast augementation done would it hurt me to have it done knowing that I am taking an 81mg Aspirin? ## Hi Deb, Usually when your considering an operation, the surgeon will give you pre-op instructions as to what is and is not allowed or recommended. From past experiences of friends and family going into surgery, I know that they haven't been able to take any sort of medication (even vitamins) befpre an operation, so personally, I wouldn't suggest taking anything.
