m on one side is large curved font across middle of pill with a slash on other side ## Based on the description provided, I found two possible matches to your pill. The problem is, one of the photos of the pill is too small and blurry to see, and the other possible match doesn't even show a photo; just a description. I can however tell you the names and dosages of these pills, which you could then take over to your local pharmacy and see if they have any particular way of testing or verifying the ingredients in each pill. The first possible match is identified as Migralex - also known as Aspirin 500 mg (buffered with magnesium oxide 75 mg). National Drug Code (NDC) for this pill is: 49886-0001 The other pill with no photo is Nicorette (nicotine polacrilex 2mg). There's no drug c...

small white pills with 25 and 3z on the same side. any idea what these are? thanks. ## I was unable to find any matches in the prescription drug databases, although a couple of other sources indicate that this pill is an Ecstasy pill made to look like aspirin or other over the counter pills. I believe there are some Ecstasy databases/forums if you search around google, that may be able to help identify the exact dosage and other related pill info. I hope this information helps! :) ## What does a Percocet have on it?

Sir my father suffered from massive heart attack and had undergone angioplasty on 30th January 2013. now he is consuming Tazloc 20 tablet star press xl 50 1 tablet and ecosprin gold 20 1 tablet in a day recently a polyp hasbeen detected in his right nose.the e n t specialist has suggested to stop ecosprin gold 20 for at least 10 days in order to operate the polyp. in this case can ecosprin gold 20 be stopped for cardiac patient at this situation ## Hello, Sudipta! How are you? Ecosprin contains Aspirin, which is used in such cases for its blood thinning effect, so it does often need to be stopped for a period of time, before surgical procedures. However, with his heart condition, he should double check the safety of doing so with his regular doctor. Is there anything else I can help with?

My husband is allergic to aspirin….can he use Keto/Lido? ## Hi Karen, From what I understand, Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) has no chemical relation to Ketoprofen or Lidocaine. So from that perspective I don't see why he wouldn't be able to use Keto/Lido, unless otherwise instructed by his doctor. On that note I do think it would still be best to discuss taking any new medications with his doctor first and foremost, since he/she can make the most appropriate decision based on closer evaluation or after checking your husbands medical records for any other possible discrepancies/contraindications. I hope this helps!

When transcribing how many pills a doctor prescribed (eg. 20 pills of aspirin), he says "number 20". Do I write out "number" or do I use the # symbol. ## Well seeing as how this is a federal felony, under DEA supervision, you'd probably want to reconsider writing yourself a prescription...duh. ## @Suzanne, I hope you end up making the right decision. Ash is right about there being many downfalls to forging a prescription. From what I've read, most states do considered it a felony if you write a fake prescription or if you try to modify one in any kind of way. Not only are you subject to being fined tens of thousands of dollars, but you'd also have to look forward to "at least" a year of jail time. I'd also keep in mind that most pharmacists are hi...

Looking for identification of an aspirin size pill marked "A" on one side and "54" on the other side. Thanks. ## In the U.S. databases, this is listed as containing 40mgs of Benazepril, which is an ACE inhibitor that's used to help treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain. Is there anything else I can help with?

I found a small pink/peach colored pill with the Letter L engraved in it. The L is not black but is the same color as the rest of the pill. ## If the L was in black print it would've been an 81 mg aspirin. However, the next closest match I could find is represented in "this image". I'm wondering if the "L" could've been a simple misinterpretation of what looks like an anchor, since the line extends outward on both sides of the logo "_|_". Please post back with any thoughts if you haven't already identified it. Hope this helps!

Is a pain pill ## Hi Alex, Based on my research, Nordinet Adulto contains the following active ingredients: Acetanilide 100 mg + Aspirin 400 mg + Caffeine 50 mg + Phenacetin 150 mg I haven't found much information on the drug as a whole, but I figured that looking into the indications of each active ingredient could help us better determine what it may be used for. Acetanilide - has analgesic as well as antipyretic properties (NOTE: this drug is considered to have a high toxicity) Aspirin - has analgesic, fever reducing, and anti-inflammatory properties Caffeine - we know what this does in general as far as stimulation goes, but studies show that it may also help alleviate acute headaches in the right amount. Phenacetin - this medication was formerly used as a pain killer, but was r...

I had B12 defiiciency. Now it is in d normal range, but just above the lower level. So, in a yr, 3 mths I take COBADEX. Sometimes, I get chest pain. ECG & stress test are normal. In cardiac CT, no calcification & other irregularity observed except 1.5 cm intramyocardial bridging. Dr has said it is OK. No medicine prescribed. Whether I should take ecosprin 75 as pre cautionery measure? ## Ecosprin contains the active ingredient Aspirin and, in such cases, it is often given for its blood thinning abilities. However, if your tests are not showing any major problems, you may not need to use it. Have you asked your doctor's advice? Have they done any tests on your stomach? Can aspirin 325 mg times two.be taken while using a fentanyl patch ,strength 25 MCG for 72 hours. The aspirin is used for blood thinning for A fib. Also can I use tramadol 100 mg for break through pain while wearing the fentanyl patch. Thank you. ## Hello, Rocket666! How are you? There is actually an issue with mixing the Fentanyl and Tramadol, it creates a risk of your experiencing seizures. So, if you need a medication for break through pain, please consult your doctor for something safe. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

My pharm. switched me from hydrocone 10-650, to hydrocone 10-325 saying it had something to do with the FDA cutting back on the amount of aspirin I was getting. Is this true or just hogwash, Steve. ## Hello, Steve! How are you? It's actually Acetaminophen, not Aspirin, but yes, it is true. Last year, the FDA requested that the amount of Acetaminophen in all combination prescription medications be lowered to contain no more than 325mgs per dose. Many people think it is safe, since it's available over the counter and will take several tablets, at once, if they don't get pain relief with one, but what they don't realize is that it can cause fatal toxicity if too much is taken in any 24 hour period. Is there anything else I can help with?
