Aspavor - Alternative

I cannot write or paint normally because the muscles in my right hand dont function normally. The specialist diagnosed this condition as dystonia. I realise that this condition is most likely caused by my prolonged use of statins, firstly Zocor, then Lipitor and now Aspavor. I also have hemifacial spasm . I recently started a routine of massaging my face and discovered how very sore the muscles in my cheeks are. I have no doubt that the Aspavor has also contributed to this condition. I am also on Ezetrol . I take 20mg Aspavor and 10 mg Ezetrol and Ecotrin daily. I had carotid surgeries about 5 years ago and have a stent inserted in one of the arteries after it began closing up with cholesterol again. I am fed up with the muscle spasms and I want to take an alternative. I will appreciate your medical opinons on alternative medication.

Hi Chan,

I think it's great that you are considering alternative medicine to treat your symptoms as well as the condition Dystonia.

I have read great things about people using Essential Oils to treat Dystonia. There are certainly too many oils to name, but If I had to recommend specific high quality brands to you, the two top reputable companies are Doterra and Youngliving; although I believe Doterra's oils are more potent and they have a blend of oils specific for treating Dystonia.

Additionally, I have come across a number of articles mentioning the use and success of herbs and acupuncture treatment for Dystonia. One to mention is linked below:

I hope this is enough information to help get you started on the right path for a smooth recovery! 10 years ago they said there was no cure for cancer, but there has been a cure all along. In my opinion, dystonia is no different!
