Is metoprolol 50mg twice a day all I need to be taking for this condition?

I am a 65 yr. old woman. I also have a leaky valve.

Has your doctor prescribed it for you? It is generally used to treat conditions such as high blood pressure, and some cardiac conditions.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.

Are you on any other medications?
