Obviously Henry works for or owns Arthri D. This is not a medication but a combination of common ingredients found at your local walgreens that have somewhat been linked to helping or preventing symptoms of arthritis. Don't waste your money

Jacque and La,

I researched the glucosamine in the Arthri-D. It has nothing to do with quality. It is a more expensive glucosamine than the sulfate. However, it also is a larger molecule and therefore harder to absorb. There has NOT been sufficient testing and study of that NAG type of glucosamine in the treatment of arthritis. It has primarily been used for digestive tract ailments. However, my personal experience so far with Arthri-D has been:

The product is still working quite well for me. I have arthritis pain in the knees and the right knee is worst. I also had moderate joint pain in my right hand that was not healing for over 6 months and was getting worse. The injury to my right hand was due to crushing blows to the knuckles by my middle school kids. It was their substitute for handshakes (I was a math teacher). I was greeted in this way by about 50 male students per day. Being macho I didn’t let them know my hand was getting damaged. I finally had to quit the practice. But, my hand suffered severely and I couldn’t pick up heavy objects with it. Even after having quit the practice for 3 months (greeting the students in this way), my hand was not improving. Within the first week of taking Arthri-D, I felt an improvement. And, now after two weeks, the pain is gone. But, I am still being very careful not to stress the hand so that it fully recovers. So, my right knee feels normal now and my right hand is almost completely healed. The arthritis pain in my cervical spine and lower back have also definitely improved with the use of Arthri-D.

However, it may be several more weeks before I am sure about my wife. She does a lot of garden work and I don’t think she rests enough for the healing process to work faster. She aggravates her condition on almost a daily basis. She rested for two days and her knees definitely got better but she was also icing them and using Australian Dream cream. So, I cannot attribute the improvement to just the Arthri-D.

NO PRODUCT works for everyone. Perhaps, it is because we are all different. I don’t know if it will work for my wife. I do know that I have purposely NOT taken any other products or treatments and my conditions have improved.

By the way, the Australian Dream Cream is very effective (though short term). Evelyn uses it a lot. I read up on the cream and was impressed with its claims of vasodilation and the Emu oil, etc. For quick relief, it seems to be a winner.

People who have lives usually don't sit around counting the days that go by, so they can be just inside the so-called 30 days. My experience with requesting REFUNDS is that they don't happen; companies can claim that, sorry, said request was not received within the critical 30 day period.

Insider says the company has to return your money less shipping of course.

Of course nothing! A fool and his money are soon parted. Insider claims that he sales [by the way, Insider, the verb is 'sell'] these products even though he doesn't use them. Well, sure he wants y'all to buy them! His is a profit motive; it's not altruism. There is no commerce cop out there that will make a company return your money! There is no court of appeals once a few weeks or months have passed--and both you,
the expectant, unsatisfied customer, and the profit-driven scam company have moved on.

Net result: company wins; arthritis wins; you LOSE!

I'm out.

You folks keep buying all our infomercial products. The Porsche payments must be made on time, and there are gambling debts. Oh, and the vacation villa needs remodeling.

I don't trust infomercials, they tell many truths but the service and perhaps their products are very lacking and overly expensive. There are many products out there that can help people, but what may work for one individual may not work for another person.

I've been involved in natural healing for over thirty years and have done a great deal of research on medical problems and conditions. What the gentleman on the television stated was quite true...as far as he went but there is much more. Put in simple terms...Inflamation is the body's way of getting attention to heal the problem going on in our bodies. A person needs to know what is causing the inflamation.

One cause of inflamation is a person's allergic reaction to certain proteins such as found in wheat or other plants in the grass family. Another example is a person who is allergic to molds consuming foods with hidden molds. Many chemically changed molds are added to an endless list of foods we eat every day. Two examples are:

Citric acid: derived from a mold and it is added to almost every food....from soda pop to a can of soup.

Rennet: on a package of cheese you will read one ingredient as being rennet.....it use to be an enzyme from the stomach of an animal...natural...then a few short years ago a new rennet was added, it is derived from a mold. If the additive says microbial be suspect that it derived from a mold.

Some people are allergic to a protein in milk and may not even know it because there are no obvious signs. Over time damage may be occurring in the large intestines and colitis could be the end result.

Proper nutrition is important but even more important is knowing what foods that are nutritious may also be damaging to you.

The reason I am placing this reply in this area is because many many people today are suffering from allergies. Mainly because our immune systems have been compromised from too many drugs, too much exposure to pollutants and too many vaccines. People associate allergies with sneezing and rashes and while this is true you can also have allergies that do not react in this way. Inflamation is one such reaction and it can do a great deal of damage to our bodies.

If you eat of lot bread (which is also full of chemicals unless you make your own from scratch) or other wheat products, stop eating them for a month and see what happens. Go have testing done by your doctor to find out for sure. The same goes for products containing citric acid and cheese products. If you know you have an allergy to molds, it is not only obvious molds around your home or penicillin you need to watch out for but also the foods you eat.

There is more people can do as well. Filter your water from the tap to eliminate chemicals, quit using perfumed products both for the body and household cleaners and deoderizers. Use as much natural products as you can afford financially although in truth they can be less expensive both in money and health.

One reason Arthri-D can produce results in some people is because they probably had low vit.D levels in their bodies. Pain and inflamation are two symptoms of not enough vit. D.

MSM also works on inflamation. I use a lotion that contains Glucosamine, MSM and Arnica along with other ingredients. MSM is transdermal, which means it is absorbed through the skin into the blood stream and will go through the whole body not just the spot you apply it on.

I hope something I have written here will be of some help to someone.

Arthi-D's infomercial is a lot of hype and very little valuable information. They purposely do not discuss the price. It is as follows as per my call yesterday: $119.98 (retail price) for 2 bottles and 1 for free with S/H of $12.99. After that the monthly amount is $39.99 + $7.99 for S/H. So $48 a month thereafter and no one has said that they have tried it or had good results.

Just took a look on the product's website:

There is nothing in the ingredient list that you cannot get in a health food/vitamin store or elsewhere online (for MUCH less).

DONT DO IT! It's a hoax. They take your money, won't cancel, can't get ahold of them on the phone.

I saw this commercial yesterday (9-21-10) called (800-329-6385) talked to Carter (quite polished) - wanted $132.97 for 3 bottles - he said you must take this product for at least 90 days. The catch - they will continue sending bottles every month - if you don't want them, you have to call and tell them or get billed! I asked how much one bottle was, and he said one bottle during their TV time was $47.98 after time $59.99. But, what good is one bottle if you must take them for 3 months? I asked why they don't sell this product in stores - answer - Who is going to buy it when it is next to a cheaper product...? I asked what is so great about this product - answer - All natural products, not synthetic.

I got off the phone quite quickly!

After watching the infomercial, I called to see where the product was made. The woman on the phone went off and after several minutes, came back to say she did not know. I did not think that was necessarily a good thing!
Furthermore, why not a medical professional on the show- instead of the guy who was doing the spot?
I called and the price was $149.00 for 3 bottles. Too much for me for an unproven product!

I saw the ad this morning (10/3/10) on t.v. It certainly appears that the guy selling this stuff is outright lying when he says that a doctor told him there is absolutely nothing being done to find a cure for rheumatoid arthritis. I wouldn't buy crap off this guy. I have done great just going with health food diet, no processed foods, lots of spices, no red meat, Lots of good recipes by Dr. Nicholas Perricone and others. The most I take is ibuprofen or naproxen and I don't use any of them more than a few days in a row, rotate pain relievers, never take aspirin if I'm working in the sun. I eat a good traditional breakfast EVERY morning, 3 eggs, bacon or sausage, pancakes, biscuits or toast... with cinnamon & sugar. At 58 I've done great and am in great shape though I've suffered with joint pain and arthritis for over 20 years.

yada yada yada... another infomercial scam. just further shows there's a sucker born every minute. I hope people at least consult their doctor before even thinking about buying the product. You need to ask yourselves these questions:
What's this Shriner dude's background? Does he have a medical background at all? and finally, when has an infomercial EVER pitched a product that does what it's supposed to do?

humans are so dumb there is no cure for Arthritis and the reason no prices are give for arthri-d is because they offer several different options and yes it is a natural supplement and yes it may not work for everyone. of Course you can continue with the pain-killers from your doctor which does nothing for the problem but tries to mask the pain

I'm an orthopedic surgeon and have studied and treated osteoarthritis extensively. These infomercials are an insult. I'm watching thus now and this guy can't even accurately differentiate the menisci from hyaline cartilage on the ends of the bones...yet he thinks that thus supplement can restore cartilage to the point where xrays will change....HILARIOUS. Wake up!

If this stuff really works as claimed, it would be available in stores or at least through your doctor. Get real, people. Can't you smell the snake oil?
