Hi Betty,
There actually aren't any medications by the name of Arterial. Did you mean to say Adderall perhaps?
If so, information I'm finding states that Adderall is not recommend for children under 3 years of age - for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. However, in children from 3 to 5 years of age, the recommended starting dose is 2.5 mgs daily. Your doctor might later suggest that the dosage be raised in increments of 2.5 mgs per week until a desired response is obtained.
If you haven't done so already though, I would encourage you to discuss safe dosing protocols with your doctor. Often times the chronological age in children may not actually reflect their biological age and how their undeveloped body may handle this type of medication at such an early time in their life.
I hope this helps!
