Aritromicina Medatz 500mg

Is this used for as an anibotic-If you have COPD and emphzema is it a problem to use.

Medatz (Azitromicina), also known as Azithromycin in english, is used to treat or prevent certain bacterial infections, most often those causing middle ear infections, tonsillitis, throat infections, laryngitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, Typhoid, and sinusitis.

Azithromycin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to azithromycin, erythromycin, any macrolide or ketolide antibiotic. Azithromycin is contraindicated in patients with a history of cholestatic jaundice/hepatic dysfunction associated with prior use of azithromycin. So if you have COPD and emphysema you should be fine since neither are listed in the info above.
