After having my ear flushed and examined to make sure its clean, doctor found out i had otitis externa and perscribed me 4 drops at time 4 times a day for 5 days to clear infection of "neomycin-polymyxin b sulfates-hydrocortisone orphlamic suspension, usb" ear drops. well right away when he gave me the first dose, i noticed my ear start to close, and then when it fully rested as far as it could down in my ear, i noticed the clogging wasnt going to go away. now i am sitting here almost 6 hours later and its still completely clogged and hasnt improved at all

They are a liquid that basically has to fill the ear to reach that outer portion and treat the infection. In theory, they should drain out, after a period of time, but if you have some inflammation, then they may not be entirely able to drain out right now.

Have you contacted your doctor to check with them?

They should be able to let you know if this is actually a problem, or not.
