Are Valium And Klonopin The Same Drug?

What are the active ingredients in Klonopin and Valium that would turn up in a toxicology report between the two medications?

To answer your question, no they are not the same drug. Valium contains the active ingredient Diazepam, whereas Klonopin contains the active ingredient Clonazepam. Both drugs are considered Benzodiazepenes and have the potential to be habit forming. Please let me know if you have any other questions about this.
