The ones that had the OC marking were actually not generics, at all. They were the name brand, manufactured by Purdue, they just licensed some other pharmaceutical companies, like Ethex, as distributors. Once their supply is gone, however, then yes, they will all be replaced with the new product that has the OP marking.
The manufacturing of generic Oxycontin was stopped awhile ago, due to the great amounts of them that were being stolen and diverted. With only one company manufacturing them, it is easier to keep track of the supply and whether or not any gets stolen and diverted to the street market.
