Are Nitrofur Macro 100 Mg And Nitrofur Mono/mac 100 Mg The Same

Is there a difference between Nitrofurantoin Mono/Mac 100 mg capsules and Nitrofurantoin Macro 100 mg capsules? The former is black and yellow with E122 on the front while the latter is gray with Mylan1700 on both sides.

From what I could gather, both of the pills in question are one in the same drug. The only difference I noticed is that they are manufactured by different companies. Additionally, there may be a slight variation of inactive ingredients; but other than that you can be assured that they are the same drug and same dosage.

NOTE: The addition of certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each manufacturer's tablet, are actually detrimental to how the drug is metabolized and used by your body. Because everyone is different, your body may agree with one medication over the other, due to how you feel or based on whatever side effects present themselves.
