Are Lorazepam From Aurobindo Gluten Free?

I hope you can help me please. I need to be gluten free, absolutely free of, and I need to know if the product Lorazepam 1mg tablets from Aurobindo are gluten free or not. Yes it is Medically Necessary, I have severe neurological reactions. Please, and thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Hi Barbara - According to the DailyMed profile for this drug, it contains the following inactive ingredients:

- Anhydrous Lactose
- Magnesium Stearate
- Cellulose, Microcrystalline
- Polacrilin Potassium

National Drug Code: 13107-084
Shape: Round
Color: White to off white
Imprint: U33

It does not appear that the inactive ingredients listed contain gluten. If you want to be 100% safe, you can call your pharmacist and read off those ingredients to them for extra confirmation. I hope this helps and good luck!

Just to confirm, are you talking about the 250 mg Terbinafine pill from Aurobindo (round, white, NDC 65862-079)? If so, the inactive ingredients don't appear to contain gluten either:

- Microcrystalline Cellulose
- Sodium Starch Glycolate Type a Potato
- Silicon Dioxide
- Hypromellose 2910 (5 Mpa.s)
- Magnesium Stearate
