How long have you been taking it? Has it helped the bleeding, so far?
You should probably consult your doctor, before making any changes to the dosage. There is a 5mg dosage that's used, but it really depends on your, your overall health, how severe the bleeding is and what's causing it and etc.

I also have to admit that I am not familiar with the APO tablet, so I am not sure if it is safe to cut in half. Is there any labeling on the bottle that warns against doing so?
