Anywhere To Get Tramadol After August 18? (Page 4)

Ive been taking tramadol for aprox 8yrs nonstop other than a 7week break. Ive back problems and my knees are broken down do to years of rough wear and tear on top of many injuries. Ive no health insurance either. Truth b told,i cannot function very well at all without taking the tramadol. So i am checking to see of anyone has any insight or suggestions as to where i may b able to purchase tramadol after the 18th of august which is when tramadol becomes a controlled substance. Im aware that ordering overseas is risky but going without the meds is not an option. I am very worried about the change in classification. I never expected anything like this to happen, had i known and not been ignorant to the possibility of not being able to order tramadol online i would have done something different(not sure what but something). I have lived 8yrs on this medicine and if i am to all of a sudden have to stop taking it i am pretty certain i am going to lose everything. My career will b gone cause i wont b able to function well for many weeks and my family will suffer due to my inabiltie to function effectively.....etc....... i am honestly scared to death and am hopeing to find a safe way to continue getting tramadol. As i stated earlier i have no insurance nor the funds to start seeing doctors not to mention the docs only seem to prescribe narcotic type painkillers and i am not willing to take them due to the side affects and the dangers they pose for me at my work.(operate heavy equipment, machinery etc....i install commercial gas,water and fiberoptic lines)tramadols effects dont cause me to be "high"so to speak.

Chronic Pain....Get help NOW. Don't wait til you're out. You are going to be sick like you could never imagine if you go cold turkey. Get it worked out NOW before you get there.

I think its a live mod who screens our posts and weeds out connection info so I dont think code speak will work. I wish there was a way for us all to help each other.

Admin....Is there any way possible to share information? I'm not a promoter of anyone or anything...just someone who is sick and wants to find normalcy again. I'm happy to share my personal info with you (admin) to verify. With the new scheduling of tramadol it has been hell for a lot of us. I'm not an abuser. I am just someone with very real health issues who didn't get the help I needed and took matters into my own hands. On one hand it was great to not be in constant pain but on the other it was bad bc I was buying web-based and now that things have changed with that my life has been turned upside down scrambling to figure out how to not go into withdrawals and be ok.

I am trying to get help but every doctor I call wants a different insurance. They say to switch insurance and wait til I get my new insurance card THEN call them and theyll give me an appointment. I will be dead by then!! Its this horrible cycle. Sorry guys...Im emotional and venting. :/ I want to get on suboxone or methadone or even a patch maybe. Just something. Its a very scary thing.

Thank you Sunny. I'm in the same boat. I'm not an abuser and just trying to find a reliable solution. I don't know what's real or not and find it really hard. I lived in Guatemala for a little while where you can get it over the counter at every pharmacy. What do we do now?

Very sorry to hear about your situations - nobody should be denied the medications which they rely on to function. We face a particular challenge with certain discussion threads because while we always like to encourage free speech and the sharing of information, we must also take certain measures to protect our visitors. Namely, we must ensure that everyone's privacy is maintained, and we must also prohibit individuals who sell or traffic products. With that said, we do occasionally allow the name of a service to be mentioned in passing, as long as it is within the context of the discussion, and as long as it is not for the purpose of promoting or capitalizing off our visitors. We often have to review things on a case-by-case basis.

As far as recommendations / solutions for everyone here, while we do not provide specific advice as to where individuals should fill their prescriptions, we often recommend that people do some research to ensure that they are working with trusted parties. For instance, there are some services out there such as LegitScript and PharmacyChecker who will vet the legitimacy of internet pharmacies for the sake of consumer safety. Also, the NABP (National Association of Boards of Pharmacy) runs a program to certify online pharmacies called VIPPS.

Lastly, there are some common sense measures which we would recommend, including:

- Only work with legitimate parties which are accredited by one of the programs mentioned above.

- Avoid using Western Union as a payment method because there is no way to get your money back.

- Avoid working with parties who claim to offer their services through email. Check for a legitimate business with a professional online presence, address, telephone #, etc.

Boy, was I in the dark! I had no idea this was happening to tramadol. Same boat as everyone else. Back pain for several years and tramadol really helped. Allowed me to live my life. Good Lord! What now? I called for my refill and was told "sorry, no more tramadol, try gabapentin" My response, "no thanks". Tried that a few years back....does not work. Not a substitute for tramadol. Is there any legit channel that has found a way around this?

I've been taking tramadol for years, recently my internist added the gabapentin, and have had no trouble getting either of them filled on 9/4/14 at a local Walgreen's.

No, gabapentin works differently than tramadol, not the same at all.

I had awful results with gabapintin!! It took some of the pain away, but I developed edema and major increased appetite... It was horrible and I gained 9 pounds the one month I took it while waiting for my mail order T's from India. I still can't believe these pills from India work. My only complaint was that they gave me the wrong tracking number, customer service takes forever to reply to emails and it was expensive. Good luck everybody!
