Also taking oral terbinafine. ## Hello, TJ! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problems that you're having. According to the FDA and the manufacturer, Jublia actually isn't known to cause many side effects, since it is used topically and the ones it is known to cause are related to it being applied topically and may include ingrown toenails, stinging and itching. However, the oral Terbinafine has been known to cause some skin reactions, since it is used systemically, thus, you may want to have this checked out by your doctor. You may also experience nausea, rash, taste disturbances and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?
can I use it on my face and how often can I apply it ## Looks like this is used to treat swelling and skin rashes due to infections. It has the following ingredients: Clotrimazole IP, Beclomethazone Dipropionate IP (Benzyl Alcohol IP, Methylparaben IP , Propylparaben IP) Cream Base. Being a topical creme, it should have safety instructions on how and where to apply it. If it does not say where to apply it, it may be ok to try starting off with a small amount on your face to see how well you react to it and bas your decision off of that test. Also, If this is a filled prescription, your doctor should have given you instructions of some sort; you should contact your doctor or local pharmacy if you experience any undesirable side effects associated with the application of this creme. The m...
The day after I started taking Griseofulvin for fungal infection of the nails, I had a sore throat and thick green phlegm in the morning. 8 days later I still have a sore throat on and off, mainly in the morning, sometimes in the evening and green phlegm in the morning. Is this coincidence? I did wonder if it was the effect of an anti-fungicide on a low level fungal infection in the lungs and or nasal passages, (i.e. killing off some fungal infection and the phlegm being dead cells, etc). I do get lung infections easily and should use a mask when I garden especially when using compost, as I notice issues often after that. Is this a possibility? ## Hello, Juliet! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems that you've had. Green phlegm like that is actually considered a sign of a b...
I have fungus in my hand just in one finger and I want to know if it'll take it off I used it before and it made it disappear but now it came back ## Hello, Cris! How are you? Actually, if the fungus is returning, then I'd suggest seeing your doctor. This might not be the right medication to fully eradicate it for you. Additionally, the steroid in this may actually worsen some conditions, as well as cause the side effects listed in the PDR, like skin irritation, redness, rash, acne and dizziness. Was this prescribed by your doctor, or just something you decided to try yourself? Has your doctor diagnosed it as a fungus? What type of symptoms do you have? ## Well like its only on one hand and it went away for a couples of months and then it disappeared and it came back , its only ...

I purchased Griseofulvin Tablets 250 Mg. Package came with Grisonex /Griseoflvin. It is an oblong pill scored down the middle and 250 on the other side. Is this a real pill or counterfit? Thank you ## Hi Jeannie, From what I could gather, images depicting a legitimate version of this white oblong shaped pill, are supposed to have the word "GRIS-PEG" on one side; and on the other should be a score line with the number "250" sitting on the right half of it... much like this for example: (__|250). So depending on how you went about getting these pills, whether it was from a licensed pharmacy in the US or ordered off the internet, that would probably be a good indicator of their legitimacy. In some cases even the counterfeit pills still work, but for your own safety there...
I had a miscarriage 10 months back due to a hematoma in the womb. And because of continued use of sanitary napkins, I developed a severe skin itch. Tried every topical application recommended by doctors. I am now told I have a fungal infection. I am advised Canesten (Clotrimazole) vaginal tablets. One hour after insertion, there was a milky liquid discharge. Is it the infection getting out or the medicine which hasn't been inserted well? Also, I'd like to know if these medicines have any side effects of any sorts- short term or long term?
Updated in Clotrimazolei HAVE A VERY ITCHY VAGINA AND possibly a UTI. I've been taking AZO standard it make my urine dep orange. was going to dr.'s tomorrow. I cannot sleep and used some Nupercaine cream.I found in a drawer. Can this help or harm? it's 12:30 AM. PLEASE HELP! ## Hello, Lola! How are you? It sounds like you may have a yeast infection, which will require an antifungal medication to eradicated. As to the nupercaine, you shouldn't use anything vaginally that hasn't been specially formulated to be used that way, it may actually make the infection worse. Have you consulted your doctor? Have you tried any of the over the counter yeast infection creams?
I have this Tinea Versicolor for 4 years but there is no improvment till date. ## Hi Sai, Based on my research, Candid (Clotrimazole) is reported to be an anti-fungal medication/cream, commonly prescribed for the treatment of fungal infections; which is exactly what "tinea versicolor" is (just on a more chronic level, if you will). The US National Library of Medicine also states that this condition is generally "treated" (NOT cured) by applying anti-fungal medicine (such as Clotrimazole) to the skin or by taking it orally. Ref: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0002436/#adam_001465.disease.treatment So it sounds to me like it'd be worth trying if nothing else has worked over the last 4 years. I also wanted to add that because this condition is caused by a type of yeas...

No, Thrush is actually an oral yeast infection, so you need an antifungal medication to clear it up. In most countries, there are tablets that you can take, as well as a solution that you can swish in your mouth. Did your dentist prescribe anything?

looking for antifungal product to treat toe nail fungus. ## Hello, Jill! How are you? This website does not manufacture, prescribe, nor sell any medications or products, it is an information only resource. There are several products available over the counter and if they do not work, your doctor can prescribe other medications to help. What have you tried, so far?

UpdatedWhere can I find Canex T vagina cream in USA or Canada? ## Hello, Bockarie! How are you? It is not available in North America. However, there are equivalent products available in most stores, in the feminine hygiene sections. You will usually find the brand name Monistat and generics, as well. Is there anything else I can help with?
My vet prescribed terbinafine for a skin yeast infection for my 63 pound siberian husky. When I got home and read the label is said 250 mg three tablets once daily. Does this mean give all three tabs once daily? ## Hello, Theresa! How are you? Yes, that is what it says, if that's what's on the label. However, if you aren't certain, feel free to call your veterinarian and double check. Is there anything else I can help with?
can nystatin cream be used for acne i didnt get a clear answer onthis page ## Hello, Will! How are you? No, this is an antifungal cream, so it won't do anything to help acne. Acne isn't caused by a fungus, but it is sometimes caused by bacteria and can be treated with antibiotics. Is there anything else I can help with?
I have had this problem for many years. It subsides and suddenly erupts. I am using Tacrorolimus ointment 0.1% in the morning and in the evening I apply Biconazole cream IP. This cream does not seem to be effective. Would you advise me to take oral medicine for a fungal infection?
Updatedive been having ear problems an no meds the doc gave me worke. went to a ear specialist and saw nothing wrong .but it still aches, he gave me this to put in my ear is that ok to use, ## Hi Denise, Sorry to hear about your ear infection. I realize this post is from a while back, so I hope you've managed to get things under control at this point in time. For future reference though, Clotrimazole + Betamethasone dipropionate is comprised of an antifungal + glucocorticoid steroid with anti-inflammatory & immunosuppressive properties. It's generally applied as a lotion, gel, topical cream or ointment. However, I don't see anything that says it's good for a bacterial infection (unless it's fungus related)... So you may need to get a second or third opinion on what trea...
