I was on 40mg of Citalopram and slowly over a few months I cut down to 10mg. On Christmas eve I cut it out totally, the main effect of this was sleeping terribly which I know is normal and why I waited until I had time off work. Now I'm back at work I feel very anxious and had diarreah yesterday quite a bit in work. Now I'm worries my ibs-D is making a comeback, or is it just settling back to work anxiety. Not sure if taking propranolol as and when would help with this. Does anyone have any advice? Need to wait around 4 weeks for an appt at my docs surgery so thought be worth trying forums 1st.

I am 34 years old and have been taking anti-depressants for about 3 years. I started on Lexapro, which quit working after a year and a half. While I was taking Lexapro I was experiencing horrible exhaustion (I have a disabled child and work full-time...VERY stressful), so my doctor put me on Vyvanse. She also gave me an Rx for Xanax .25mg to take as needed, which I RARELY took (usually only at night to relax). Last spring my stress level went through the roof and my doctor switched me from the Lexapro (which wasn't working anymore) to Pristiq 50mg, which was AWFUL (Horrible, vivid nightmares). Is it true that mirtazapine can give false positive results for benzos?? I'm in pain management and due to this false positive I will not be allowed pain management etc..any help would be greatly appreciated. ## No they are antidepressant,s no benzodiazepines in its make up so I think you will be fine I tink ppl are going a bit overboard was probably a bad batch,ive never gave a false positive and im taking zispin it's 16years now that is the real one not generic ones, ## I know for absolute sure I haven't taken any benzos!! When I went to doc today I showed positive for benzos and they sent it to the lab.So when they get it back they will see it was only remeron!! But the doc said it will cause a false positive. I have tingling and numbness in my hands and my feet muscles hurt. I am on Pristiq, but it has only been a week. I took one (1) week of the new generic drug (Budeprion XL) and went to my doctor's appointment. She told me that the Wellbutrin XL now has a generic pill but I was not to take the generic. I told her I had just refilled my prescription and received the generic brand, so she wrote a new prescription for Brand Only. I recently had an emergency reaction to Brintellix. The active ingredient is Vortioxetine and it has 532 known drugs that if taken at the same time will cause serotonin syndrome. In my case i had withdrawals changing from one med to another, so i was give an anti-nausea tablet. It turned out this was one of the meds that clashes with Vortioxetine. I take mirtazapine and have failed my driving urine test as they say I have been abusing benzos. I don't take benzos, and they say I have been abusing them for 12 months. If so Apotex states that the tablet contains 50mgs of Trazodone, which is an antidepressant that is also used to treat insomnia. Found some pills in my son's glovebox. Powder blue with the numbers 93 over 42. I take Wellbutrin and amphetamine. Is this ok with TBX free? Is there any reason I can't take these medications together? ## Has anyone used TBX Free while taking antidepressants? If so did you have problems? I'm worried about complications. ## I was unfortunately unable to locate any specific reference of a drug interaction between TBX and other medications, I think, primarily because its active ingredient (Cytisine) is a plant derived alkaloid that's non-existent in standard Western medical literature. That said, if it were me I'd probably try to get in touch with the prescribing doctor as well as a naturopathic doctor just to cover all bases. Hi, I am currently in my 4th week of being off lexapro. I had all the horrific withdrawal symptoms which most have subsided. The only one I have left is the dizziness. Its not an all day dizziness like it was but waves of dizziness that come and go. Has anyone else had this side affect for this long? ## Hello Wendi! How are you? I take wellbutrin xl 150 mg once a day for depression and anxiety and I have had real good luck with it. This is going to sound really weird but since have been on it, during sex with my boyfriend (I am gay btw), my ejaculations are explosive and I stay hard for a long time after and sometimes ejaculate twice without going soft.
