I have been on antidepressants for 4 yrs.Started with lexapro,then effexor, now wellbutrin-This medication has made me feel the most normal I have felt in a long time for the most part. I have been on it for 4 months. After the first month I all of the sudden packed my things and left my husband after 25 years and moved in with my sister. Two weeks later I moved back home.I have not had a regular period since I started this medication and feel I am going through menopause. I am 45 so its possible, but after reading uncommon side affects not so sure. I had an 18 day period in nov, none in Dec,and have the signs of one to start but not sure. I had severe depression hit again friday and last through today so far-feel crazy,lots of anxiety, no confidence in any abilities. Dr wants to supple...

for depression ## I'm looking for contraindications on this drug. A friend of mine is on it and is using alcohol heavily with it. Im concerned the mixture could be extremely dangerous. is this drug used in children for bed wetting ## My son was given this medicine for bed wetting and hyperness and only made the situation worse ## My 13-year-old son used Imipram for bedwetting and the results were wonderful. I'd washed sheets and blankets every single day for years. He quit wetting the bed after about a week. He went off the drug after about 18 months and has never wet the bed again.

What is the difference? Cymbalta and Yentreve ## I cannot find a difference, the monographs are identical and they contain the same active ingredient, Duloxetine. I believe the only difference may be that one is available in a time released form and the other is a normal release medication.

My mother's doctor started my 87 yr. old mother on Paxil in the nursing home & it completely changed her personality. She got many side effects, dry mouth, irritability, unable to focus on conversation & so on until she ended up with such severe abdominal pain & urinary retention that she ended up being readmitted to the hospital. White, oval-shaped pill with 44-385 printed on it. Any ideas? ## Well, it is definitely not Wellbutrin, this is a nonprescription drug, pills marked with an imprint starting with the number 44 are manufactured by LNK International and they only make over the counter products, that are then sold by various stores as the generics or store brands of items such as Tylenol, Benadryl, and etc. As to what this particular one is, I have not been able to find an ID on it, because over the counter items are not as strictly regulated in the US as prescription drugs.

Side effects will go away after a week or so. I take this medication for joint pain and it made me sick in the begining. I started out with 30mg then went to 60mg and now have no side effects at all. ## I was given a RX for 60 mg of cymbalta, but I'm not depressed/ect. I have lupus. Does this seem right? ## Yes, Cymbalta has been shown to be effective in alleviating certain types of nerve pain as well as being an antidepressant. It does not work for everyone though, but you should try it for about 2 weeks or so, then you will see if it helps you at all.

My Husband has been taking flouxitine for 6 months now and he has been drunk everyday for 2 1/2 months. Please help. ## I am very sorry to read of the situation you are facing here, and I do understand your concern. You are right to worry, most prescription meds, of any type, do not mix well with alcohol. Most drugs are metabolized through your liver, and I am sure I don't need to explain to you the effects alcohol has on the liver, so he is really giving himself a double whammy. I am assuming your husband, as is normal for someone with his condition, is not concerned and will not listen to your concerns regarding his combining the two. antidepressant yellow ## I can't find a reference to this any where else. Does anyone know anything about it? ## The reason you cannot locate this anywhere, is because it is not a prescription drug, and not evaluated for efficacy, or usage by the FDA or DEA. This is an herbal remedy that has been used for hundreds of years for many different conditions. As such it is not regulated by the FDA and the one thing I did not find it listed as being used for was an antidepressant. Here are some links with more information:

I have been taking Cmbalta for aout a year and have been experienceing a really bad, almost salty taste in my mouth for just about the same length of time. Has anyone out there had this same problem? My dentist says that there is nothing he can find, so I am hoping that someone can help me out. Please also let me know if you have experienced this same effect with other antidepressents. What a pill looks like, even Burpropion is totally up to the manufacturer, yes, the orignal med manufacturer who had the proprietary patent on the med usually does code them that way, but once a med is available for generic production, it can look however the generic manufacturers decide they want the pill to look, so the size, shape, and color are entirely up to their whit and whim. white round pill with SL line under then 433 ## THIS IS NOT A MUSCLE RELAXANT! Sl 433 is an old marking, they company has been purchased by Pliva and the new pills have Pliva in place of the SL, however, this tablet is Trazadone 50mgs, a generic for the antidepressant Desyrel. This is not any type of muscle relaxant, nor in any way related to muscle relaxants.

I have a small and white pill with the letters and numbers SL 433. Is it a pain pill? ## This is actually a fairly old pill, the ones with the SL markings are no longer being made, the company has been purchased by Pliva, and the new markings read Pliva but keep the same numbers.
