I started citalopram a year ago and it takes time but it does work. I take 40 mg a day, and life has gotten better. OK, I do admit, you will be a little forgetful and slow, but that is what it does. If you are high anxiety, like me, it will slow you down. It calms you down and if you embrace it just right you CAN make the drug work in your own way and fitting in your own lifestyle.
