I take 50 mg Pristiq and have been doing so for about a year. I used to take OTC cold medicines to fight off a cold. Been on Mirtazapine for 5 days now. Worked almost imediatly for me after the first night however I felt very groggy the next day. Doc perscribed this for me to bridge the gap from weening off of Paxil. Not sure if I will stay on it for the long run. Conserned that it may raise trigliceride levels. Looking up this drug, cant find it in my drug book ## You wouldn't find this, if you were looking in one that's relevant to the U.S. or Canada, it isn't a name brand that's available in either country. I switched to Pristiq Aug 2012 after being on Prozac which seemed to stopped helping me with depression. Two months later I developed a severe large intestine bleed accompanied with severe pain. After a CT which found inflammation I was put on Flagyl and Cipro. I developed diarrhea and was gettting worse instead of better after 4 days and was hospitalized. A cdiff culture came back positive which was probably non active until I was put on the antibiotics. (was on effexor not Pristiq in hospital) I was released and sent home (back on Pristiq). Three days later the bleeding started again and I was put back in the hospital. Cdiff negative this time. A colonoscopy showed non specific inflammation (no polyps etc.). I am taking 30mg Mirtazapine. Is it safe to try for a baby whilst taking this as i could be on this drug a while and i am already in my 40s? ## So far, it hasn't been shown to cause definitive fetal harm, but it may cause a baby to be born prematurely. Have been using Bupropian HCL XL 300 mg tabs for over 5 years. The markins have always been A102 from Anchen manufacturing. Now I received a M B9 pill fro Mylan pharma - which has alot of different ingredients than the other. I have had ZERO luck with taking different manufacturing products over the years. I take lexapro every day and it has been amazing for me, I went from 10-20-30 Mgs and 30mg was finally the dose that made me feel normal again. I know someone who got off, but it was necessary, extremely unpleasant, and "ain’t over yet". Started the person at a good psychologist, twice weekly (beware of psychiatrists, over a period of 12 months, 5 of them took this person from HAMD-24 mildly depressed to almost clinically depressed). Didn't start tapering mirtazapine until calculated plasma levels of Cymbalta were essentially zero (about a month, using as little Ativan as possible, as needed - less than 5 mg once a day and not every day). I have been taking citalopram10mg for 4days now along with 400mg tramadol (100mg 4xaday) and 6mg diazepam. My depression has lifted however my anxiety has increased and I can't sleep. I'm due to increase my citalopram to 20mg in 3 days but not sure if this is a good idea. I have been on oxy 10 mg 3 times a day for three years. The doctor would like me to get off of oxy and try something else. I tried topiamate but it was making me hateful and tired. My husband told me to quit taking it, as I was not myself. I take effexior already, should I ask for Celebrex or cymbalta when I see him. I have severe pain throughout my body, neck and hip especially. I do not want to gain weight at all would rather lose 10 pounds. I have to see ## None of them are likely to be as effective as the Oxycodone, though I do understand why he wants you to try something else.
