I had been taking Neurontin for numerous years with other medications. Neurontin was prescribed for me to help major depression ONLY. This medicine was added to my other medications to boost the other. I began falling and tripping etc. I went through numerous tests to see what the problem was. It took over 6 months to find out I was over medicated. Neurontin is for seizures. There was a class action suit on this. Apparently the sales people were telling the doctors it could help with other conditions. The FDA only approved it for seizures. I was weaned off of it and some other ones and now do not fall etc. ## bingo! both lyrica and neurontin did that to me. I have been taking gabapentin 300mg as an orange capsule. New script filled with small yellow and white capsule with APO on yellow and 113 on white. Is this also 300mg gabapentin? ## Yes, same drug, just manufactured by a different company. When a drug is available for generic production, it will be made by many different companies and since the way the medication looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer, they will all look different.

yellow Capsule G 5027 ## it is genaric for nurotin it is a 300 mg capsole used for nerve pain and used to help prevent seizures and used for shingles ## The generic name is Gabapentin, this is, as the other poster stated, a 300mg capsule. This is an antiseizure medication that has also been shown to treat certain types of nerve pain, including that from Shingles. Since this is often thought to be a pain medication, I would suggest asking your daughter why she has it, and what she thought it was.

how long does the dizziness last? ## It lasted about 4 weeks with me. It was a pain to go through but it was worth it. I've been on it for 10 months for bi-polar. ## Side effects and their duration will vary from person to person, it depends on your body chemistry, your tolerance to meds, the dose you are taking and etc. The average is about 2 weeks, but it can be longer and shorter depending on the person. I have been taking Lamictal since Jan.2007 for grand-mal seizures...it is the best medicine in treatment. My last seizure was Dec.24,2006 (I won't 4get that one.) I busted my head open-9 stiches(1st.time) I have not had any trouble w-it, sometimes I get a headache, & I get nauseated, just in the a.m. I usually eat about an hr. after I get up, & it doesn't bother me at all. I used to have mini seizures, the last one I has Christmas eve 2006 was the worst one ever. I used to take Dilantin(generic one) & close to the end of 2006 I had one in Oct & the one On the 24th. Has n e one used Topamax For depression? ## I'm on Topamax for depression right now and it seems to be working great for me. ## I have started on Topamax for about a week now for seizure control. I have only had two of them,but we thought this would be the best option since I have two small children at home. I was trying to find information on topamax and antidepressants, I have had the best week. I have been on Neurontin for about 3 months but over the last couple of weeks I have been getting cramps in my legs like never before. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue with it. it might not even be from it but i don't know why all of a sudden I start getting cramps that bad.
