Can you take a 300mg dose of gabapentin with a piece of a suboxone strip (about 2mgs)? I wanted to know before I mixed both. ## Hello, Jen! How are you? HAs anyone had experience with Lamictal causing mania? It definetely did for me. Landed me in the hospital for 6 days and took a full month to subside. For four years, I've taken 100mg of Gabapentin (one capsule) along with 0.50mg of Ropinirole (two pills) at night only for Restless Leg Syndrome. I am 76 years old. There were times when I felt that I really could, maybe even should have increased, as directed but I just hate taking any kind of medicines and finally, it felt more ok enough to not increase. So, I did not. Now, I would like to get off of all of it but since the Gabapentin is one capsule, how I can taper off from that one? I can go down slowly on the Ropinirole by taking only one tablet each night as each one is .25mg but I do not know how I can cut the Gabapentin capsule with the powder medicine inside in half. I'm taking 300 mg of gabapentin three times a day and noticed a rapid weight gain. I think it's mostly water retention and I was wondering if taking one Lasix a day would help me loose the weigh and keep it off and not cause any other catastrophe. ## Hello, Margareta! How are you? With the possible risks associated with such rapid fluid retention, it would be best to have it checked out, rather than trying to treat it yourself. Hie i had a problem of epilepsy doctor gave me naxdom 500 i am gaining weight after having this medicine..is it because of this medicine?? Can anyone tell me how to get off of Keppra? I am only on 250mg 2x daily and I want off. ## Your best bet is to talk to your doctor so you can stop under medical supervision. ## I agree, I stopped cold turkey after only two days and thought my topamax would be enough I paid the price and was lucky to be alive.... ## I started off at 500 mg 2 times a day, then down to 500 mg a day, and now down to 250 mg..I seem to have some panic atacks. Need to Identify a new capsule I am taking. I got a refill and the capsules look different. This one is light yellow on both halves. When u stand it on one end the D is on the top half and 03 on the bottom half. Weaning off of vimpat from 100 mg twice daily to 100 once daily in the morning. I have explained to the dr. That it’s causing eye problems, hair loss, memory loss. I have not had a seizure in a year. Wanted to know the best way to wean off. My dr. Refuses to wean me off so I’m doing it myself. Hello !! On 18th March'12 we were going to ahemadabad.. I reached at 12 in the night, then had sleep by 2am. Then have to wake up early at 6 clock. When i came from the bathroom I fell down. Hi, My husband takes per day 2 eptoin tablets since he was in 8th std.. once he had fallen down from somewhere and cos of that doctor has prscribed these tablets if he stops taking these tabs he will get fever headache and feel week... and also doctor has told him to take these tabs life long.. I failed a drug test for a job and I showed positive for methadone and morphine, but I take neurontin, tramadol, atorvastatin, losartan, and 70/30 insulin novolin 1000 milligram. What caused me to show positive? And can I test positive for neurontin? ## I had a urine drug screen for my Suboxone clinic and it showed up as Neurontin, but I only take Suboxone and melatonin. Could the melatonin cause a false positive for Neurontin?

The cream colored capsule with D 03 on it is a 300mg gabapentin. It is mostly used for the treatment of nerve pain as well as a mood stabilizer. I also have found when you are trying to come off of opiates, the gabapentin helps with the withdrawal. It is not a solution, however, taking the gabapentin for a couple days vrs relapsing or getting on suboxone or methadone, is better on your body in the end. Since it is a mood stabilizer as well it helps with sleep, the anxiety, and pains that come with withdrawal. I have used this in my own personal experience and it was a life saver. I believe that if you work the program suboxone can work too, it just is expensive and not everyone has the cash to do it. I don't like to rely on any medicines but I take this over pain pills or barbiturat...

The main issue, if you don't have a prescription for it, however, is that it does not work right away, like a narcotic or anti-inflammatory would. my son just switched from levetraceta/Kepra to Vimpat. he uses 7.5 ml 2x daily once in the morning and one dose early evening . he has completed one week of this full dosage and i fill like it is causing more frequent little seizures . so i cut back his dose to one dose of 7.5 1st day his 2nd day to 5ml . he seems to be doing ok . he is 11yrs old. its the weekend so i cant get info from the doctor . has anyone out there gone through this ???? ## It would be best not to change his dosage, without his doctor's approval. Large white oval shaped pill with two triangles and 4443 on one side and 0009 on the other side ## I think this marking may actually have been 600 and 4443. Can you please double check and post back?
