So I was put on ciprofloxacin 2 times a day and am currently taking 10/325 percocets. I read somewhere that it is a major interaction between the two. Is there anyway maybe I can take them hrs apart? ## The only interaction I've been able to find is that Ciprofloxacin can increase the effectiveness of the Oxycodone. This doesn't mean they can't be taken together, just that your doctor should carefully consider your dosage and they should be monitoring you regularly to keep an eye on you, in case any problems arise. I am taking this drug for a double ingrown toenail removal surgery. Have been on it almost 3 days. I'm still battling fever, nausea, and pain. I'm also diabedic. What should I do? ## Hello, Lisa! I had a miscarriage 2 months ago. I didn't know it got an infection and took augmentin 875 - 125 milligram tablets for 10 days. Did that cure whatever I had plus any other possible infections? ## Are you still having any symptoms of having an infection? Pain? Fever? Pus? Vaginal discharge? If not, then it most likely worked. I have been taking Amoxicillin for 5 days now. After 2nd dose I had severe gas pain in lower right intestine, but that passed. I take probiotics, and added yogurt which helped that. I have gone back and forth with diarrhea and constipation, mostly diarrhea. Have headaches on and off with this as well. I began having a bit of vaginal soreness Saturday, and now 4 days later it is getting worse. Severe itching, rawness, and also anal itching and rawness. Sex is extremely painful, and just wearing clothes hurts. I am thinking I may be having a severe reaction to this drug. Calling Doctor today. Also taking Flonase, or the generic, which is a steriod. I just got switched from penicillin to clindamycin 300 mg 3 times a day. My face wasn't puffy and huge like it is now at first. I have started taking it on the 14th. Is this normal for the face to swell up like this and my gums before it kicks in & flu like chills and 100 degree fever? I have received 300mg clindamycin for exudative tonsillitis. I was told to take 4 a day for 10 days. I am on day 2 and have yet to feel any less pain. My throat is very inflamed and my voice is gone. I was prescribed Cipro for a UTI. However after 2 days I started having numbness/tingling in my hands and feet. The doctor said to stop taking the pills. I was given levaquin intravenously on 8/21,22/2013. It is now 2016. My balance is of and I have nerve damage, so severe that I had to take 8 weeks of therapy to try and get most of this corrected, and other life changing problems like depression, short term memory lost, confusion and hallucination. Sad part is I live in Arkansas. I've spoken with maybe four different law firms and no one will take my case. My pcp and a ENT specialist are covering up the fact that levaquin is the cause of all this and I have documentation to prove my allegation. I recently took 750mg of Levaquin for 14 days (I've only been off for 3 days). I've had so many side effects from this and just wondering if anyone else had similar symptoms, also wondering if anyone knows how long it remains in the system? If I were you I'd consider the idea of having its contents analyzed by a lab, just to be on the safe side. I am prescribed Bactrim DS 160/800mg (2) Double Strength tabs every 12 hrs. for a A.Baumannii infection from the OR which took me back to the OR to remove the infection now as I heal I am on Double Strength 800mg x 12 hrs.
