Capsules which are maroon on one side and a very light pink (almost white) on the other. Writing inscribed on each side Bristol 7279. ## I found these pills in an old medicine cabnet. I think they are antibiotics, but I'm not sure. What are they. I can't remember when/if they were prescribed to me. ## What is this drug for? Is it an antibiotic? Also, for what kind of illness or infection? ## This is Trimox 500mgs manufactured by Sandoz. Active ingredient is Amoxicillin, this is an antibiotic, it has a broad range of use to treat infections. What is a pink oval pill scored down the middle and 250 on back of pill with nothing on the scored side? ## I'm fairly certain this is an old erythromycin pill, 250mg. It is an antibiotic used to treat infection. round white pill, Bl imprinted on one side, A 1 and score with 7 (1|7) on the other side, ## Hmmm...doesn't look blue to me, but pills can sometimes miscolor with time and handling. PIll IMageM= This is what the pill with this marking should look like. It is Penecillin V 500mgs, an antibiotic. Like I said it could be discolored, or it could be a counterfeit pill, my recommendation is to flush it!

Benzenesulfonamide, produced in France or Italy ## If I am correct this is an antibiotic from France. It is especially used to treat and prevent urinary tract infections. It is recommended when traveling to ask your doctor for a prescription to take with you, (traveling out of the country I mean.) I think the generic name is Noroxin. Side effects include serious diarrhea, headaches, blurred vision.

White ip 272 ## This is generic sulfa 800mg, and trimeth 160mg., generic for Bactrim DS. It is an antibiotic used for many infections, most commonly bladder infectsion, sinus infections. Side effects include stomach upset, diarrhea, headache.

Need to find out what phar. company first came out w/this antibiotic called 'tetracycline' ? ## Pfizer was the first company to invent Tetracycline. A man named Lloyd Conover worked in the labs in the US of Pfizer and he discovered it. If you type in history of tetracycline and google it you will find the material you need. I hope this helps.

This is an antibiotic in the sulfa class of antibiotics used to treat urinary tract infections, kidney infects, and many other types of infections like protein in the urine. It can cause anaphylactic shock if you are seriously allergic to it like I am, cause shortness of breath, hives and/or rash.

why dose amoxicillin cause difficulty breathing ## Because you are allergic to it. Stop taking it immediately and see your doctor. Do you not read the patient information you receive with your meds at the pharmacy? It says if you suffer these types of symptoms, stop taking it and call your doctor as it IS AN ALLERGIC REACTION!

Large orange & yellow capsule with the number 2416 on both sides of the pill. Before the number there is a bold letter, possibly a capital I or X. ## Large orange & yellow capsule with the number 2416 = Tetracycline Capsules - 250mg - an anti-biotic which is commonly used as anti-acne medication.
